Do you think Nintendo is going to release "Twilight Princess" the same day as PS3?

Yup, that's right, do you think Nintendo will release Twilight Princess, the same day as the PS3, which is rumoured around the July 1st as A release date, the same day as Microsoft should be releasing Halo 3 on the Xbox 360 to combat the release of Sony's new system, could Nintendo try and take Zelda in the picture and bring it out the same day, since it has been delayed to April as A release date as the earliest, and is one of their top games.

Honestly, I think they should, they need one of their top games to be their on the release date of those two products, or at least something else to compete with them, Nintendo will be left in the dust if they don't quite likely, but only time will tell...

Nintendo is already in the dust. Where HAVE you been for the last 9 months? TP is being released on March 31, it has already been confirmed. The PS3 is supposed to come out in march '06. Making it so that it will either be the same day, or TP will come out after it. I hope it doesn't come out on the same day, I hope Nintendo doesn't sink to Microsoft's level.

I dont hope, waited all my life for this... I think they will do after or before.

Bravo! Thanks for pointing out the obvisious, Einstein, what I meant by that, is that they would really be screwed in the console wars, I thought most people would've picked up on that. (I'm not trying to offend you, I was just answering your question).

no offence taken. Oh, and they are pretty much already screwed in the console wars. (pretty much). TP is the only thing that is even remotely keeping the crowds hopeful. and now that that has been delayed, a lot of their fanbase has probably been put off of Nintendo. If Nintendo would release it on the same day as the PS3, which is also the same day as halo 3, people who are still angry with nintendo will go for other products. The least they can do is not sink to Microsoft's level.

Hi! I'm new here, and I do think that they will release something other than that of "Twilight Princess" to combat the release of the PS3.

They should release it earlier.
I mean, why are they torturing us so much?
It would have been wise to show Zelda TP for the first time at the E3 05, not the E3 04.
Since were already waiting so damn long!
If they showed it off for the first time last E3 they could've said: "It will be released within a year!"
And then everybody's happy.
Now they are just delaying it. I mean what are they waiting for? Showing the full game at E3 06?

Just think, would you be more concerned with a game than a brand new console? I wouldn't. Even should Twilight Princess be revolutionary, it will still be overlooked, seeing a a console is more important than a game.

If they release it behind the PS3, even, Twilight Princess will lack in sales, as people (include GameCube owners) will probably be saving their money for new PS3 games, not Twilight Princess.

Exactly! PS3 is the most anticipated console right now IMO and if they release around the same time as PS3 I believe that would hurt Zelda sales.

They better hope That Spring 06 is at E3 time for PS3 release instead of March - April

Funny rumour like the one about Halo 3 comin out the same days as PS3 i dont think the other manufactorys care that much for each other they got there own gamesand fans why should they bother with such things.

ON Topic: Halo 3 IMO won't affect squat on PS3 sells, it just has far to much of a fan base and hype.

I really don't care about the console wars. I just want good games. And if Nintendo delays it yet again for something less than half of the people care about, I will be pissed at them for life.

Last time I heard, PS3's release had been pushed to the beginning 2007, which I think is about when Revolution will have it's Europe release. There's no way Twilight Princess will be released that late.

No they did not say it would be released on the 31st, they said it would be AFTER the 31st although they could release it on the 31st. And they said they still do not have a release date for it anyway.

Remember that TP is being released worldwide, while the PS3 most likely won't reach the western world before several months later. So, in a way, TP is going to beat the PS3 to it.

You also forget prize differences. Because of the REALLY high prize I do NOT think that the PS3 will sell very well beforethe prize sinks.

Apparently they know the rev is no competition for the ps3 and xbox 360 so they are supposed to be sending twilight princess in as competion against them!
