It was delayed because Nintendo want to make sure this game is the best Zelda game ever... Thats why they needed extra time.
You could of posted that tiny post of yours in either one of these threads: boo or yay delay? ZELDA 05 DELAYED

Delayed games make good games. One reason that Rare made such good n64 games is that they weren't too pressured for a certain time.

They delayed TP so they can improve on the game. I mean, Nintendo needs to brighten up the graphics and get a good storyline going. This delay will help make the game good and not so rushed like WW was.

I saw it too, and when i did, i slammed my head as hard as i could on my computer screen then got an extremely bad nosebleed and headache -_-
