Question Hint that TP will be rated T?

Ok I know there are many threads about what Zelda's rating is but this I found out at Camp Hyrule. Ok at the bottom of the page it says "Products Ranging From RP-T" Ok. I looked all over the place. No sign of T rated Games. Did I not look hard enough? So the only thing there that could be rated T is Zelda..... Anyone else go to Camp Hyrule and notice this?

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

Well, Tp is most likely going to be rated T, and that thing you saw probably meant Nintendo's game library in general. Aren't the Metroid games rated T, or am I just being silly?

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

I'm in Camp Hyrule too, I never really thought about that before. That sounds like it could be true, because you're right, TP is the only thing advertised there that could possibly have a T rating.

BTW: What cabin are you in? I'm in cabin # 10. We are the Nin10dogs!

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

Well... at e3 I remember a question, and it started as "With TP being a teen game and all"

I think it is safe to say it is going to be a Muture/Teen game... Because thats how the game is being made.
Guess you could say its totally different from tWW for that matter.

The Metroid games for the GC are rated T. The others are E though. And, not to be off-topic or anything, but your avvy is disturbing to say the least. XD

Yeah, I'm starting to get that feeling too. Just the whole nature of it feels like a Teen rated game. Which means, it'll be a first for the series in the same manner that Metroid Prime was. I'm secretly hoping it is because then, they'll have fewer restrictions on the content of the game and it won't seem so forced.

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

oh i can almost asure its going to be T after talking a bit with one of the localizers.
now he didnt outright say what it would be rated, but that it has NOT been submitted to the ESRB yet but that his guesses always turn out to be true.

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

I don't doubt that he's right. Just by judging by the screenshots and the whole feel of the art and such, it's for sure a T game. Especially if they're taking these extra 4 months to up detail on graphics (not confirmed, but my theory). I mean, look at SSBM. Nothing really wrong with that game but it was rated T. My only guess is the graphic "violence" of the game. Now, imagine that multiplied times 5....thousand and you've got TP. Even the original Metroid Prime was rated T, and the violence really didn't peak until that battle with MetaRidley. Everything else was a simple "shoot and die" type thing and wasn't excessively violent.

I'm guessing 'cause of it's darker nature it probably will be rated 'T'.

This game won't be out for 7 months, why would it be rated already? I think it falls under the "RP" category.

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

Looking at the game's style and soforth I can't imagine it NOT being rated T. Not for actual content, but for the graphics being realistic enough for it to seem a lot more violent than OOT, MM, or WW did.

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

Twilight Princess should be rated T, but I think ESRB will rate it E, because of WindWaker, the realistic but CEL-shaded game, they actually thought about rating WW EC, but, thank god, they didn't, so TP will probably be rated E, like every single other past Zelda game. If TP is rated T, that could still be good, because some people think of Zelda as a child's game, and would want this new Teen version of it. So there is a downside of the T-rating, which is children not being able to buy it under 11 or 12, but there is also a downside for E-rating, which is bratty Teens would think of it as another childish Zelda game, and not bother even seeing the trailer for it..My opinion, anyway..

Re: Hint that TP will be rated T?

I kinda hope it's not rated T for the wounger Zelda Fans who's parents won't let them play T-rated games. There aren't many though, its not like you can't buy it unless you are 13. It probally will be rated T though. All the realistic games I can think of are rated T. Even Haunted Mansion. A DISNEY game, even though it has nothing to do with the movie....and it does scare me sometimes.......all the time......well on the other hand I saw a thread somone made in Gamecube Zelda of the game being rated E.
