ZELDA 05 DELAYED

Sadly Zelda 05 has been delayed :'(

I think it's great that they are letting it take all the time that's neaded, and not rushing the game.

Oh wow, thats really aweful and really awesome at the same time.

Sure, it sucks that we can't play the game sooner, and that Nintendo won't have the upper hand this holiday season, but this almost sets it in stone that TP will most certainly be one of the best games ever made.

Halo 2 was delayed so that Bungie could make it a better game. For those who don't know, Halo 2 sucks more ass than an ass sucking machine made of ass.

Another year to wait for a game that may well be crappy as a crappy poo. I'm really REALLY pissed off about this. I'm gonna be in Grade 11 next year, which means I will have almost no time to play it at all. Instead of having a solid 6 week period in which to freely play it until I got into Grade 11, I'm not going to be spending 1 hour a week playing it - even in the holidays I will have assignments and crap to complete, so scratch those *****es too.

Jesus Pissing Hell.

Perhaps nintendo will be nice enough to give the public a demo of the game soon, to take away the pain. Seriously, 2006 is quite a whiles away, we need somthing to chew on.

The demo build was apparently fantastic, so if they are delaying the game 4 months for a new dungeon, I'm going to scream.

They PROMISED it would come out THIS YEAR.


I'm starting to hate Nintendo now, I guessed it before that they were crazy, but this is the nail in the coffin, they are nuts. Which is why they are in last place this gen, and they'll be in last place next gen. They just don't think, what do they have this holiday season?

A SSBM/Gamecube Bundle...BORING.

They have no games to offer, absolutley nothing to go against the Xbox 360, and they plan on releasing a Gamecube game well into the next gen., that is probably the dumbest thing they've ever done.

I'm overreacting, sure, but this is the biggest slap in the face a company has ever given it's fans.

I would have to agree.... But I think Nintendo just found out that Ocarina of Time is one heck of a game to beat and they need more time to make Twilight Princess deserve that title The best damn Zelda game.

It takes alot of work to make such an awesome game. As Mr.Miyamoto said:

Or something along those lines... I respect Nintendo doing this. This is what we should of looked out for Twilight Princess is a huge game. Huge games take alot of time.

Hardly.

It means theres more time for hype which leaves a bigger scope for disappointment. Just because more time has been put into the game doesn't instantly equate it to be a great game. Not rushing it? Twilight Princess has been in development since before the Japanese release of The Wind Waker.

Seriously this is only going to raise fan expectations, and fans are fickle demanding things. If after all this time it has flaws, or disappoints fans - Nintendo have got a very very deep hole to climb themselves out of. This was their tentpole title for the holiday period, now they're left with nothing bar a couple of Mario franchise games.

As much as I've stood by the little purple box on other forums, I'm really beginning to wonder whether Nintendo has well and truly lost the plot the lately. Games also scheduled for a release around that time (end of the fiscal year, beginning of new fiscal year) are Final Fantasy XII and Kingdom Hearts II. It'll be interesting to see who Nintendo fairs against the Squeenix Battalion.

Yeah... I hate nintendo too. The only reason I get nintendo is to play Zelda. I dont want them to die, that's why I always wish Bill Gates would buy Nintendo so that it wont go out of business, and the best games in the world can stay alive too, to be continued to be made by the best makers working for the biggest best richest company!

why!!!!! i mean i thought waiting for november was already long, but now to 2006.. but a delayed game is eventually a good game, (i hope nintendo really uses the time to make it a great game, but still 2006)

who ****ing cares what the critics say? who ****ing cares about the business tactics of this. what other company on this planet would completely sacrifice the holiday season to microsoft, what other company would say ok, even though our game will come out after the release of next gen hardware, were still gonna delay it until its the best game it can be. well ill tell you who would, NINTENDO. remember holiday 04 was supposed to have RE 4, but they delayed that til jan. and it certainly turned out better then expected. thinking a game is going to be worse or more dissapointing because of an extended devolpment time is backwards thinking. your only making yourself look foolish for letting yourself get dissapointed. the zelda team has proven over and over again they know how to make a game, and god bless them to tell the world, hey we dont want antother triforce hunt, i know its going to take longer but it will be worth it in the end. The way i see it is nintendo is doing everything they can to make the most out of their game. because tey would rather make an enjoyable game then a half finsihed product for the sake of sales. case in point HALO 2

I know it's not that long away. I was merely showing I had the slightest interest.
I actually didnt think it would come out before 2006. There was just that hope.. you know.

Now I have nothing to look forward to this year. They should atleast bring out some more gameplay videos because their making alot of fans angry now. :'(

of course the game will be better and we will after getting the game probably say something like: Now I understand why they delayed the game.

An awesome game is better than a rushed one... still... I can't help but feel a little stung by this... oh well, trust in Nintendo and the LoZ... the wait will be worth it... I can wait another few months I suppose...
