Toy ideas

Maybe when Twilight Princess comes out, some company that specializes in keychains of video game characters will do keychains of Link...I'm stopping on the character list, I refuse to spoil anything.

I don't think there should be TP toys for when it comes out, maybe some REAL merchandise like glass figures, small statues ect. the game will be too epic for toys.

A Twilight Princess Link keychain would be cool, I have a keychain of classic Link. My friend has a wrist-band with the Triforce on it. I think some Link earrings would be cool. Or some with the Triforce dangeling off of them.

Heck I would buy a TP Link action figure in a second I have the OOT Link toy but my dog got a hold of its leg

Action Figures are going to be a given...maybe even statues could be made.

Was Lord of the Rings 'too epic' for merchandise? No? Then neither will Zelda.

I love the Minish Cap keyrings, but I want some full-blown action figures to display some real Zelda pride!

apparantly, be huge. So it is certain that some toy company will do this. Or some
model company making TP merchandise would be nice. I wouldn't mind getting
a model of Link on Epona.

Well I would like to see some Twilight Princess t-shirts in stores... so people can buy them easily, I would if I saw one

They should make some keychains/caps/soft toys/and even TP underwear =P

As for toys and action figures I am sure some company will do something like that. Just what they did with OoT =P

I'd take Link on Epona, Link, Zelda with her sword, or a mini glass sculpture of Link.
I bet there will be way more than that though. TP is probably the most anticipated game of the century!

Bring on the keychains! I used to have a OoT Link action figure. So that proves that I would buy a toy, sculpture, poster, or whatever! So bring on the merchandise!

I havnt seen any Zelda toys since OoT.

They were made after OoT, right? That's because OoT was such a big game. I'm sure after the release, if it's bigger than OoT there will be plenty of toys.-

Hell, if they made em with tWW, expect some good TP action figures. I'd certainly buy any Twilight Princess merchandise. T- shirts, figures, key- chains, I'll buy 'em all.

Well I don't think they need to release any toys, but seeing another figurine like those from Oot would be good.

What i would really like to see in the action figure category would be really high wuality figures made by whatever company it was that made those really awesome 12" detailed, fully clothed figures based on the characters from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

BUT, the figures would only be about six inches rather than twelve.

Link, for example, would be fully posable. as in, you can move almost every joint in his body. his legs can move and bend and all that, as can his arms, he can lean forward, tilt is head up and down, turn side to side, and all that.

Link's clothing would be mostly 100% cotton, like his tunic, and his white sleeves and pants would probably be cotton as well. actually, the pants could at least be elastic.
the chainmail shirt should be made from thin black or gray cotton with many, many, many little plastic ring-bead-things sewn onto it to give it the chainmail look.
Link's hat will also be purely cotton.

His swords (what we've seen so far, plus the Master Sword) will be hard plastic, not that rubbery bendable pseudo-plastic that the original Link figure came with. his sheaths (both, one for normal sword and one for the Master Sword) will be not only switchable, but functional as well, meaning we can actually put the sword in it's sheath. the belt and sash that hold the sheaths and keep Link's tunic in place will be most likely thin strips of real leather, or at least a flexible plastic.

the Shields will be like the Hylian Shield seen in TP so far, and also probably what ever other shield comes after that one. they will be hard plastic as well, and will be held on Link's right arm PROPERLY (NOT like the shield from the original OoT Link figure). there will be a plastic bar portruding from the left side of the back of the shield that you can slip onto Link's right hand, and on the other side of the shield's back will be a plastic or rubber binding to keep the shield from swinging away from Link's arm.

Link's hair will most likely probably be a rubbery bendable plastic type stuff, because hard plastic would look funny and barbie/ken doll style "hair" would look even worse.

Link's gauntlets will also be hard plastic, and a part of the molding for Link's arms and hands.

speaking of, Link's hands will be pre-molded into one permanent shape, such as Link's left hand will always be clenching so that he can hold a sword in his hand. the Right hand will also be clenched to hold the shield and other items that Link might come with.

That's basically a detailed example of the quality that i would like to see in an action figure set for Twilight Princess. i'm only detailing on Link because it'd take a long time to put into detail what i'd like to see in other characters.

I would love Twilight Princess action figures. That would be awesome. Detailed ones.

I want TP to be epic as can be and not to be seen kiddy or anything. I want those figurine things that can break easily. It would have a much better feel than toys/action.

This reminds me of the page or two of merchandise included in the Kingdom Hearts manual. When I saw that, I laughed. What exactly can you do with a miniature plastic Sora?
