Final Zelda Game Ever

If and when Nintendo makes the final Zelda game of the series, what do you think it would be about. Obviously Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf would be in the game, and Ganondorf would finallly be killed, and Link and Zelda would get all three pieces of the triforce, but what would the story be about? The game cant go on forever, and it would be fun to think about the end of it.

Well Nintendo won't be ending Zelda for a long time... So I would not even worry about it.

As for when and where and what storyline...

Ganondorf takes over hyrule and his armies destorying everything in Hyrule... Ganon is trying to find Zelda to get the Triforce of Wisdom... Link steps up with the Master Sword... Does a massive Sword fight with Ganon, The best one ever... Link destorys Ganon and Hyrule rests in Peace for the last time...

Oh and the graphics will be so realatic that it looks just like real life...

For me, "A Link to the Past" is the definate ending of the series. Master Sword resting again forever, Link finally touching the Triforce, Ganon being defeated inside the Sacred Realm (no more banishing or something like that)... Sounds like the final part in the Zelda timeline for me.

Link kills ganondorf with the master sword and we see Ganondorfs body cut in half, so we get it clear that he´s dead. Then Zelda MMXXIV marries Link MMXIV.

I do believe Ganon has totally died once before... and was just Ash... So we need to throw him into the center of Death Mountain if we want to end him for good

Ganon Takes over Hyrule and actually kills Zelda, no more crystals for him, he's pissed. Link comes, enraged at such an atrocity, and uses the Unlocked powers of the Triforce of Courage to decimate Ganon once and for all.

I thought Ganon was killed in LOZ with the Silver Arrows?
I like to think that LOZ is the penultimate game in the series because Ganon is finally killed, and AOL is the last, as underlings try to revive Ganon, by sprinkling Link's blood on his ashes.

I hope the last game has a twist, like Arcain has said, but where Link is himself killed, and Ganon is revived, therefore, Zelda must take on a more active role.
I doubt that will happen though, since the CD-i games made all Zelda as main character thoughts scarey lol!

Link in Hyrule now all the islands from the WW have combined. Ganon emerges and takes Zelda and takes her triforce but it shatters into millions of peices by the Gods. Link finaly defeats Ganon after a long battle. All 3 pieces reunite and Link puts the master sword back. and the world is at peace. Then theres a big long story of the whole Legend of Zelda linking all the games

You know, it'd be nice if the final game in the series was actually the first one. Of couse then it wouldn't have Ganon in it, but maybe like an Agahnim type character or something would be cool. It would explain the forging of the Master Sword and the ancient sages or something. Of yea, and it would be nice to actually be ale to explore the sacred realm before it got turned into the dark world. That would be a cool ending to the series. Having a 'final' Zelda game wouldn't be a good idea because it's much more fun to watch people fight over what Zelda game came last.

Now now, no need to go all Lord of the Rings on him.

It will never end. If it does it will not end climaticaly, it will die because it has lost popularity... But again I say it wont end.

Ichabod_L is right. We need to know the stooy of the realm and the Sages. Also all the way the Master Sword was formed. Maybe something that ties all the games in.

Zelda: Ganon's Final Strike

Ganon is once again trying to take over Hyrule. He finally gets all 3 Triforce Pieces (after killing Link and Zelda), which bond into his soul. All this power is over wealming, too much so. In a frantic rage, Ganon kills the entire Royal Family, along with anyone in his way. All the stress on his body kills him, right after he destroyed half of Hyrule.

I've always been a big fan of the typical "apoc" ending where the said world is destroyed and whatnot, taking the inhabitants with it. To me, it has always seemed like a good ideal ending, if a little cheap and cliche at some points. And even with the maturing turn for Zelda, it just dosen't feel like that right now. I think the series will just fade away-- there won't be a definitive end or anything of that sort.

The series can never have a 'definite' end. No matter how Ganon 'dies' Nintendo will always think of some plot device to revive him.

i think when Nintendo gets bankrupt (hopefully never!!!) and nobody wants the Zelda franchise(Yeah, right!)
the last zelda game is going to be a real s**t... Link will use his triforce to create a atom bomb and throw it at ganon and he will blow in billion pieces and the ending credits are going to say the same thing that Krusty(the clown) said about Poochie., hahaha

Maybe the VERY last Zelda will be when we FINALLY find out what happens to Link after MM

I think Nintendo will make a game explaining the creation of the sages, but it wont be the last game. I think it will be about the islands in WW being combined and somehow Ganon comes back. Link uses the Master sword one final time and defeats Ganon, combins all pieces of the triforce, and brings peace and prosperity to the world

Well....okay....I may not know EVERYTHING about Zelda because I haven't played all the games yet...but what I'm about to say has probably already been done but oh well. One way or another if Ganondorf was banished or "killed" they'd find a way to bring him back somehow so it's like there may NEVER be an legitamate ending to the series. Like they could "kill" him off by link attacking him and like slicing him up or something. Then they could just whip out a plot twist and be like he got together with nabooru or something and had a son. So then of course the son would have to follow in his fathers footsteps. Link would have to come to the rescue. However Ganondorfs son would kill link and then you find that Link got some chick (like Zelda) pregnant before he died. Then Link's son is born and now he has to save the world. So he grows up and after fighting Ganndorfs son he decides none of it is worth it any more so he creates a nuclear holocaust and hyrule is no more. and thats the end....sure its kinda fruity but it'd be interestiong. . .
