Re: Zelda DS games

Yes there are.

There was something about it in the latest report in EGM found in the Zelda Watch article, but I don't have a link (no pun intended) handy to the information, nor do I remember it off of the top of my head.

EDIT- Found a link: http://www.hyrule.net/?get=newsview&date=66&lan=en

Re: Zelda DS games

Well, I really do hope a Zelda game comes out for DS. I can only imagine how weird it is going to be.

Re: Zelda DS games

The Link works for me.

And also, the Zelda for DS
was originally meant to be Four
Swords, but now Nintendo will plan
a regular Zgame.

Re: Zelda DS games

There was going to be a FS game and a normal Zelda game, but then Nintendo merged the ideas and then now is making a normal game, with some FS elements.

Re: Zelda DS games

Nintendo is surely planning a DS game (probably a few). I don't know if it will be Four Swords-based, but I hope not. To top it all off, Nintendo will make a Revolution game. You might use the Wi-Fi system for both the Revolution and DS Zelda games.

Me too, but it wouldn't hurt to do it once more and make it really good. I completely understand though. Four Swords is really tiring me out, because I haven't even played it, and everywhere I look, Four Swords propaganda...

... I really hope the Zelda game for the DS is good, and not crappy like it's going to be.

Re: Zelda DS games

It'll be interesting to see what Nintendo can do with Zelda on the DS... Puzzles with the touch screen, mic, and the enhanced graphics making it all look so good (if they use them). As far as Four Swords goes, I wouldn't mind seeing just one more game, as long as it's on the DS. Then everyone could play it multiplayer, how it's meant to be played, without having to buy cables of some obscure sort.

Re: Zelda DS games

Wireless multiplayer would be cool. Especially if it was online.

Re: Zelda DS games

One of my staff members has written an editorial all about how Nintendo could use the DS's features in a Zelda game. Here it is. We also have loads of news articles for you to look at.

I have a feeling Nintendo may leave FS for a while. FSA bombed on the Cube. Nintendo were expecting high sales, but the game didn't deliver.
I for one bought it...

As for Zelda DS, I'd love to see a OoT style third person adventure rather than an overhead ALttP type one. Mario 64 DS proved that it is very possible to do. I'm not saying I want a remake, I want a brand new third person Zelda with WiFi capabilities. That would rule.
