Music in 2nd TP trailer

The music in the 2nd Twilight Princess trailer shown at the Game Developer's conference has been suspected of being an entirley new piece created for the game, but this is not true.

I found this out by watching the movie "Dragon's World: A Fantasy made Real". The exact same music was playing in the background in one of the trailers for the movie. Why would they take music from a game to put in a trailer for a documentary?

So my question is now, where does the music come from? What's it called?

If anyone has any ideas or information about that music, I'd like to know!

I looked for one of the trailers and damn, you're right O.o

Well now I wonder:

- Did that movie take the music from the zelda trailer?
- Did the people from zelda take the music from that trailer?
- Did both of them take the music from something else...

*confused* I'm going to try and see if I can find the actual complete song and name of it.

Dudes, Nintendo likes to use other brands/peoples music for the Zelda trailers...

The 1st and 3rd trailer as far as I know are no way from Nintendo at all, But of course all the music IN the Zelda games are from Nintendo

And no movie stole anything from Zelda =P

The music from the third trailer comes straight from Nintendo, it's obvious since it plays Zeldas Lullaby in the ending.

As for the first one. There were two versions of it with different music, one used some really Wind Waker-esque sounding track which is likely to come from Nintendo and an other which used the same Conan theme as the Oot commercial.


The music in the second trailer doesn't sound too fitting for a Zelda game. Music in Zelda games have always focused on melodies, this one is more of an atmospheric movie composition, and is honestly quite uninteresting.

Allman Brothers Band, Don't Want you anymore?

Is that Nintendo? O-o

It has the wrong artists tag attached, the Allman Brothers one. I think thats the one you download from IGN, right? It's messed up in that way.

Gosh, I remember reading that when I downloaded that song.

Hmmm yep thats right I did get it from IGN.com... So it is from Nintendo then? =P

Yeah the 3th song is definately from Nintendo. I even remember reading an article (about Koji Kondo I believe, who makes the music for zelda) talk about how they worked on the music for the 3th trailer.

I see now, man that annoying trust IGN to screw something up...and no wonder the music is so good with Koji Kondo on the project

I know for sure that it was from nintendo-originally composed by Kojii Kondo. They had a special on it in Nintendo Power.

wuts the music from the 1st railor... that ones the best!!!!!!

The first trailer use the same music form the trailer form OOT which is a great idea really.

this was a great game OOt and now they used the same music for the new game and it show how far they have come with the new one it brillant

It's simple. It's called "placeholder" music - this is music that is used when the music of the game is not ready. Nintendo probably had to pay a fee to use the song. (To be honest, it had no solid presence and did not sound appropriate, it was just "runny".)

Well, that part I figured out myself, thank you, but I meant the name of the placeholder song!
