Re: Ocarina Of Time's Remake.

Oh the horror! At first it may seem like a good idea but it's horrible to change something so orginal with so many key features. As I've said before: Why change something that was great and risk it becoming bad. Let Oot R.I.P.
It had its day and will always be remembered as 1998's best game of the year.

Thumbs down

Leave OoT where it is. They've already done a sequal and a remake. There is no need for another one. Seriosly, forget it. Its.. never going to happen.

Re: Ocarina Of Time's Remake.

Technically, there's never been a remake. Master Quest was acually the original OOT, but then was changed. Thus it went into Zelda lore as the unknown Zelda OOTDD (Ocarina of Time Dual Disc). For years people thought that you could obtain the triforce in DD, but then nintendo decided to pull it out of the vault and release it. Thus, no triforce, and a bunch of buggy fans not satisfied....including me.
And Majoras Mask wasn't much of a sequal...It was one of the best Zelda games I've played, but it was more of a side story after OOT more than it was a sequal.

Actually, nintendo never really gave fans what they wanted, either a full remake or an actual sequal. They began listening around WW, they brought back story elements of OOT into that, but still not what everyone wanted. Now that they have TP, I think this is gonna be a true sequal. How many other Zelda games have they released recently that they have said specifically when it takes place in relation to OOT AND hint that some characters may make a return? Why would they even say those things if they weren't going to use anything with them? (hint: in some interviews, they simply laugh like there is some inside joke and then say "we can't comment on that right now") Something fishy and awsome is happening with TP, and I can't wait.

Re: Ocarina Of Time's Remake.

Ok I think there sould be a remake of Oot but with some things made clear, one it sould be released on the revolution launch, two it sould bemade by young ppl that didn't work on the original (ovously with supervision by miyamoto and other's that worked on the original) so that it will be a tribute of sort's to the original, and three if there was any change's at all there could be a mode were you play the story from Zelda's point of view , that would give a good view at the royal family of Oot and let us see some more of Ganodorf's story as well as Zelda's.

Also one last thing I think that Oot would be a great way to give Young ppl a chance to see the story from the beging and give the Zelda fan's(us) a chance so get some Zelda fun on release of the revolution rather than waiting for a year or so for a Zelda game.
