Twilight Princess? C'mon now!

I think that I speak for many when I say, that is the dumbest name i've ever heard! is'nt the game supposed to be more MATURE and DARK then the other ones, that may prove to be difficult with a name such as that!

Dude, Twilight Princess is a dark name. And anyways I don't think you speak for anyone when you say the name sucks. So far I think everyone has liked it or just lived with it.

I was quite shocked when i first heard the name was Twilight Princess, but then i got used to the name and i think it goes very well with the game coming out.

Okay, since you are a new member you are unaware of the fact that this topic has been disscussed a lot in the past. This is old news. Everyone has accepted it. It's not that bad.

at first i hated it, but now that ive heard more of the backstory (twilight realm), i think its a cool name, very memorable

When I first heard the name, I didn't like it at all. But then the name kinda grew on me and when I learned more about the game, I happily accepted the name Twilight Princess.

Nah, I don't think its all THAT bad. Though I admit it could've
been better, but hey, it's Zelda we're talking about here, the
name doesn't really matter. As long as it plays well thats all that really matters.
Its looking like to be an awesome game, and the name certainly
doesn't put me off buying it.

Looks like you have no understanding what-so-ever. If you did some research on the name... You would find its the perfect name.

And if you didn't know already... There is a Twilight Realm... So you can't name the game without the main cause of the game being in the name

I liked the name ever since I heard it.

I kinda like the name. Though when I was told about it just being called legend of zelda I figured that it was a remake of the first one

Yeah I found that pretty stupid... Alot of people told me that, and I was like =\

If anyone rememberd tWW was also called The Legend of Zelda GCN...

the legend of zelda is the placename for all the games in the zelda series until an official name is released.

But I never had a problem with the name, none of the names of any of the games stand out as good names so it was no different.

Princess of the Twilight Realm. Simple.

Who cares about dark or mature? It's the quality that counts.

BTW, WW was very mature, thematically.

Originally, I thought it was a joke, and thought Twilight Princess was a horribly 'predictable' name, but now it has grown on me!
I would have prefered another, yet similar name, that would have souned moremysterious, like Twilight's Maiden, but I'm fine with Twilight Princess now!

It's perfect for the game. The shadow arera of Hyrule is called Twilight and... don't want to spoil anything.

From the very first minute that I heard the name of the latest Zelda game was going to be Twilight Princess, a shiver ran up my spin. It is a darker name than any of the other previous titles. If taken out of the context, it can come across as "girlie" and "wimpy." A title should define the game, though, and Twilight Princess does a perfect job.

Sounds dark to me. Pun semi-intended.

Twighlight Princess is a great name. It's between light and dark which is more powerful than either light or dark since you get the best of both worlds. It also suggests going from innocence to maturity.
And the Princess thing.......Princesses can be evil.

I could not care less what the name is, but Twilight princess is a good name for it, as it is a darker name and the game is a much darker Zelda. Oh and and next time when there is something to do with future Zelda games, try putting this in Future Zelda

I am getting kinda tired of the annoying Zelda "fans" who always and I mean ALWAYS have something to complain about. Let me guess you *****ed about TWW too. Come on grow up please!

What's in a name? Even if the name sucks the game could still be awesome, and completely appropriate for the title.
