Has anyone else noticed this?

I don't know if you guys have seen it; but when I look at the footage of the E3 TP demos, and trailers, I notice that Link is the only one in the village who actually has the pointy ears everyone else's ears are round. Is this even relevant? Because I tend to notice dumb things sometimes lol

I noticed that too. Maybe it means he is the only Hyrulian. (I read that he isn't from Hyrule but a different town)

actually hes not a hyrulian, hes a hylian, theres a big differance, and that is a very good observation

So that means... Link is from Hyrule, I wonder if he knows that in the game.

Hylians have pointy ears, Hyrulians don't. So of course this somehow means Link is a very special individual, as always, and as a plus, he even has the triforce mark on his hand... go figure.

There has got to be somthing in the story that explains this.
Oh and I thought Hylians/Hyrulians where the same thing and is just the word given to those who were born in hyrule, Could some one tell me whats the diffrence if its not to much to ask

Wrong section, I would consider this a spoiler. Anyway, I don't think that will effect the gameplay much, but good eye.

I suppose it could be quite similar to OoT when he was raised as a kokiri, but was really a hylian.....man I hate comparing OoT to TP already.......

Ganon's a Gerudo. Wow I didn't notice any of this. BTW, Hyrulians and Hylians are different? Didn't know that... Though Link being Hylian just shows that he's of Hylian descent... Which... Uh... I suppose all of the Links are. Is that true?

yes, all of the links are of hylian decent. and here's an explanation of the difference between hylian and hyrulian.

the planet that all the lands are on is called hyrule. therefore, any person living on this planet, whether they're from temina, holodrum, or whatever "land," is a hyrulian. similar to how every person living on earth is an earthling. a hylian is somebody born of the distinct land hyrule. it's the master land i suppose of the planet, therefore having the same name. hylians=from distinct land hyrule hyrulians=anybody from all the different lands of the planet hyrule. hope that clears things up

yes, kokiri have pointy ears. them and people from the LAND of hyrule do, and that's it. so to seasfubi, it does make a difference, and it's not an error in the game. Link is supposed to be the only person in toaru to have pointy ears because he is the only one in that town to be of hylian decent

I've been playing zelda since 1993 and I NEVER knew that.
Thanks for clearing that up for me and others who had no idea.
As far as we know at the moment The TP link has no imediate family living in the village so mabe that whould explain why he is the only one with pointy ears

I thought Hyrule was a country. Isn't the Village where Link lives in TP located just outside the border of Hyrule.....?

Or am I just rambling?

I'm pretty sure Hyrule is a kingdom. And I'm also pretty sure Hylians are the chosen race of the gods, and that Hyrulian - though I've never seen the word used in any of the games - would mean anyone from Hyrule.

well i must also then say what i said seasfubi, that the ears are what determines a hylian from simply other people on the planet

That's an easy one. If you recall, the villiage that Link starts off in during Twilight Princess is located OUTSIDE of Hyrule. Hylians have pointed ears. Because the people of teh village are not Hylian, they do not have pointed Hylian ears
