Dark Link?

What do you think of the idea of a new game involving dark link? I think that would be really cool. He was always my favorite mini boss. It would be super cool to play as him...and be able to use darkness and stuff...we can tell his side of the story. ANd then, you would switch back to Link. Wouldn't it be cool?

I agree... Zeldas a 1 man 1st person story. But it would be cool to have DL in the game. Im actually pretty confident that nintendo will use him in TP.

I think that would be really cool. I like darklink and I would like to see him in Twilight Princess. I only doubt that you will be able to controll him. In TP anyway, maybe in another Zelda game.. sometime in the Future.

Argh can't people see it!!!! Dark link is most likely going to be in TP as a major character. Why you ask because in twilight means pretty much shadow and in whats in a shadow? Darkness This game is screaming that Dark link will may not be the major boss of the game (it would be more like aol)
but at least a major plot to the story. please will anyone agree with me?

It would be so cool if Dark Link was like, Ganondorf's second in command in TP, sort of like Adgamin...if that's how you spell it...

I agree with OoT master, he will be here, there is great chance, he might be a boss or final boss . For Amon_knives Aghamin=Ganon he cant be his second command.

Hylian Ranger Agahnim is not ganandorf he was a great sorcerer mind controlled by ganon to do his every command. He did the exact same thing with the kings soldeirs in lttp

I agree with you. I´m prety sure Dark Link will appear on TP. Not as the main boss, but as a very powerful one.

I never thought of that. You're probably right. That would be very cool indeed. Although I'm not sure how he would come into the story.

I can see Dark Link being some kind of boss... But I am pretty sure you won't be able to play as him.

Dark link he will act out like he is the real major boss but then someone even more evil will behind it all.. The hard part though is I really can't see ganondorf being in this game sadly i don't know why i just can't

Actually, I would say that Dark Link is associated more with the Dark world, since the Dark World is like a whole world on it's own, parallel to Hyrule, but corrupted by the evil's of Ganon's seal (the Sacred realm reflects the heart of the user).

Since the Twiligh Is just magic that is infecting Hyrule I doubt he appears in the game.

Well, I guess I can only hope then...I do think he is a very awesome bad guy though, despite what anyone else says. And I do remember the thing that nintendo power said...(looks up in my shrine to Link) Yup. you are most definetly right my friend. Someone is controlling him.

if you think about it, it doesnt really matter what the twilight is made from, it could be darkness or candy, because dark link appeared on the water tmeple in OoT, and it wasnt a dark place. So i think maybe Ganondorf summos dark link to take care of link, and he didnt think about him becoming stronger because of the twilight, so maybe Dark Link will be the main boss and very powerful, sorta like transforming into a real muscular Link, but exagereted. Something like 15 foot tall.

There could be a Dark Link, but I agree with superdecimal. It's not a dark world, it's just a kind of... Different place. If Dark Link is in it, I doubt that he would have any storyline significance.

yea, i never thought dark link had much of a story. he was just created by ganondorf's evil magic to mimic link.

I guess not...I just thought it would be cool if he did have a story. Instead of just being another monster or something. I mean, he was the most interesting out of all the mini bosses, at least for me.

of course he was.... he was you, but dark. or maybe he will be called........ Darth Link. hehe, and wear a robe, hehe. nah, just kiddin.

maybe his storyline will be equal as from Twinrova, they kinda did something, but didnt have a huge role in the game.

yea, twinrova has a past, that's why there was something of a story to it. dark link though just pops up behind you, doesnt speak, you kill it, and you never hear of it again. if he wasn't just a shadow creature, he would be something of a darth maul, which would be neat, but i really don't think he was more than a shadow creature

This is a good theory and although I think Dark Link would be a great addition to the game, I'd hate to see him become just another stereotypical "complete opposite" character to Link that has been done SO many times before. I don't doubt they'd give him his own personality and unique purpose in the game.
