Twilight Realm? and Timeline Theory

I think the twilight realm is the dark world from ALTTP bcz "Upon entering the Dark World, one was transformed into something that reflected their heart." so ya obviously links heart reflects a wolf. With the Moon Pearl, however, one could retain their own form.

i think the moon pearl might b in this game and this might b the same Link from a Link to the Past and thats where this game fits into the time line. plz comment!!!

it's a pretty good theory, but now follow mine.

nintendo has succeeded to implement a new element trough a trailor, and in the first one it was a very small hint (the wolf howling at the end). but haven't you noticed that nintendo does his best to create a much theories as possible between plausible buyers. So the smallest thing in screenshots and trailors matter and the obvious, very obvious can be rejected (aLttP is integrated in Tp); but it still can be true because it makes a lot of sense.

This just hit me. If the Twilight is the Dark World, and they said Ganondorf would be in the game but with another role. Then the Twilight Princess can be Ganondorfs daughter or wife. hahaha, i know, i know, im drunk.... haha, just kiddin

Well this is deffinatly not going to be a seaqual to alttp because of one simple reason alttp is the last zelda game in the series and this game has a brand new zelda because at the end of alttp it says that gannon is gone forever and the master sword is in peace forever so that means if this is the sequal then the entire timeline would fall appart and then nintendo would have to make a bunch more games to fill in the gaps and it is highly unlikely but good theroy

I don't think TP is ALTTP's seaqual becase it's WW's seaqual and WW is OOT's seaqual, (and MM I think)and OOT and ALTTP are like two different legends all to gether, like Suchastud said gannon was gone forever in ALTTP and in OOT he's not, if OOT was befor ALTTP,ALTTP would have to come after WW and after the WW is TP so TP can't be ALTTP's seaqual. but could ALTTP be TP's seaqual?

well, Anouma kinda said that TP takes place decades after OoT(in EGM), whatever that means, from the adult timeline or the child timeline, none know yet.

he does mean the child timeline because of it being after majoras mask, its suppsoed to be two decades as ive heard through Nom and other mags. Ther e might be a cameo of the HOT but dont place any bets on it. Theres a new link as we already know and HOT is supposed to die in the flood as rumoured. We wont really know unless more info is leaked or until the game comes out.

It can't be aLttP Link, because when you enter the Dark World without the Moon Pearl you turn into a bunny, and on this a wolf. So, that part is *WRONG*

I think this whole timeline thing has got me more worked up than waiting for TP. I wish Nintendo would just make up the timeline. It would make me feel better.

I don't think it's the same. After all, the Twilight Realm is creeping into Hyrule, while the Dark World was supposed to be something else entirely.

I remember reading somewhere...the twilight realm dosen't work the same as the Dark world in ALTTP. As we have already heard, the Twilight Realm is spreading. Basically, it's acessible the same way you would enter any other area. The way the twilight works is that places become infected with the twilight, and that place turns into a twilight version of itself. It's still acessabil like it would be normally, the only difference is that it's now a part of the Twilight Realm. Get it?

However, there are more then one "Link", so that Link may have turned into a bunny while this Link could turn into a wolf. It's a great theory, and a great connection.

I agree with this theory to a certain extent. In ALttP, Link was turned into a bunny, because that is the animal that reflected his personality. Now, Link is a wolf, another animal that could reflect his personality.

When we enter the Twilight Realm, we meet creatures that aren't in the regular world (like those Predator-like black and purple things). We saw the same type of thing happen in ALttP, with many different things that were not in the light world.

It is obvious that this is not the same "Sacred Realm" from OoT, but it closely reasembles the Dark World in ALttP. In OoT, Link was time travelling seven years into the future, yet he is going into a different dimension in both TP and ALttP, so the Twilight Realm and Dark World could very well be one and the same.

guys, you should have in mind that nintendo is not very much concerned with storyline, as it is with making a game. So i tell you, thres gonna be a lot of new Links and Zeldas troughout the Zelda series.
