four swords for gc

Ive question the four swords for Gamecube doesn't make much since to me because not many people know have 4 gameboy cables let alone one. so explain to me why put it on gc why not gba. besides that kinda dissapoints me to see the zelda games
like that cuz im kinda used the singlle player stuff. someone please explain this to me

Okay, if I understood your post correctly, it is like this... Two-Four players connect their GBAs to the GC, and when all four players are together, everyone is displayed on the television screen. When a single player enters a building or cave or something, this is when the GBA comes into play, as the view for that player switches to the GBA Screen instead of the TV. You can also use the GBA screen to view secret messages only intended for you, and the like.

The gameplay is supposedly similar to the GBA Four Swords, but with the changes I mentioned above. It uses a GC Disc, which will make the game a lot bigger and so you can do more things at once.

FS for GC has received a very mixed opinion... It is a bit of a problem for me, because, as you pointed out, not many poeple around here have 4 GBAs with GBA>GC Link cables.

At www.Nintendo.com it says that you connect one-four GBA's to play, so I think you can play by yourself.

It's always buyin' more stuff, isn't it?! I couldn't even play the original Four Swords because I don't happen to have friends with Game Boy Advances and the game itself. If it was just GBAs, there'd be no problem!

I have 3 friends with GBA. None of them own FS. One of them will, though. He told me so...!

Oh and I need to know about FS on GC, will it cost alot, or like a GBA game? Can't I play the game normally without stupid cables and GBA's?

No, the GBA is an essential part to the gameplay... So you need the GC Game (Four Swords), a GBA (more than one preferably), and GBA>GC Link cables to go with each GBA.

Nothing is yet known for the cost, but I doubt it will be sold for full-price. It'd suck bad if it was.

I have a gut feeling that Four Swords and Tetras trackers will be on the same disc for full price.

Either way, doesn't matter to me. I never got Four Swords for GBA because I don't know anyone who has it. It'll be nice to mess around with it on GC (Yes, by the way, it is one-four players on the GC, so you only need one GBA for it with link cable). As I mentioned in another post, quite a few people already have a GBA and link cable, whether it's for the sake of the Tingle Tuner or because they had it before that (or for other reasons). I'm thinking I might get an SP also, because I was planning on it when I got my GBA but they were sold out of SP. I only have one game for the GBA right now, but it'd be nice to play it with recharging batteries, I'll save more money in the long run that way methinks

The thing that Nintendo seems to be doing is beginning to connect the GCN and the GBA more. It kind of started with Metroid Prime and Fusion, and then there was the Tingle Tuner, and now this. Since the GCN and GBA came out they've been saying that you can use them together, but they really haven't given us any good games for it. I think that's one of the reasons for these new Zelda games, to give us more of a glimpse of where they're trying to go with this, even though they haven't really gotten it done yet.

Nintendo's a bunch of bastards doing this. I got over the fact that the graphics aren't better than FS, but <edit>gosh darnit<edit> why the hell do they have to screw stuff up with the gba. And why the hell cant you connect the GBA to the GC with a link cable? I own FS and a gba and i borrowed my friends gamecube (since he doesnt have GBA and i dont have GC) and i still cant play using the Tingle Tuner because i dont have the stinking cable to connect the two systems.

I guess video-gaming is becoming restricted to the spoiled brats whose rich parents buy everything for them.

i think that the idei is kinda dumb.They are expecting to get a lot of money from this becos four gba the game and four links to da gtamecube?!?!thats way to much for me any way.ps i only have 1 frend to play with.

Well I know one person with a gba and a link cable I do to but I dont know him that well, I want to play but nintendo expects everybody to have all that money, god nintendo just dont do that.

Only 2 people in my whole grade (9) have a GBA and only one of them has a GCN as well. In america and other places maybe yes this idea is working but in australia where i live people couldnt care less about great "features" like the tingle tuner and such.
Oh well i suppose it doesnt affect me much but I think nintendo doesnt realise that not many people have the money or would bother spending it for little things like that.

Maybe it's kinda like SSB:Melee or Pikmin2 where it's a multi-player co-op.

sage of ice first of the hole game is about a co op so drrrrrrrr.
