Link's Autobiography.

Has anyone ever wonder what happened to the Links from Oot, MM, or any other Zelda game after the end of the game? Don't you wish to somehow find out what they did after or how they died or who they married (if they married that is) or what ever the hell happened to them? I think it would be cool if they made a book or something that you could read about them through out the upcoming Zelda game?, maybe find scattered pages in the game with stories about the other Links.

I'm sorry if somebody brought this up before, if they did then lock this thread.

lol does it really matter? I mean the Link of that time.... serverd his duty and destiny... There is so many Links to follow up it would just be boarding... and who really cares anyway?

All we want is a Offical Timeline... and more awesome Zelda games...

I've had this long-running dream Zelda fan fic which i've never been bothered/gotten the time to write, where the 4 other link's (let's say theres four others) come back to hyrule from their place in the afterlife, to put an end to the curse once and forall. by the curse i mean how Ganon can't die, how a new hero has to be awakend every coupel hundred years, and who's life is ruined etc. Each link has different personality traits, specialities and weapons. The hero of time for example, uses the 3 transformation masks to combat the bad guys. personally, he is always tempted to use the feirce diety's mask, but is scared of the power it posesses, and is afraid he may never want to take it off.

Other four links? I believe that it's the same guy each time.

I would love to know what happened to the Links/Zeldas/Sages, but then again, I like having nothing to contradict my Link/Ruto Link/Medli Link/Din pairings. So I can write as many fanfics as I wish. Side's if they all the characters I like end up miserable or dying painfully, I don't wanna know.

A timeline is useful, but Nintendo probably like watching us fight with our clashing timeline theories.

You are new to this site, aren't you?

There are a lot of people who believe in the "One Link" theory. But I think Saria.exe is referring to a theory of her own, one about all the Links being reincarnated.

This should be in general zelda not future zelda.

Yeah, That would be cool to read about the former Links. Like if there were clues in their Autobiographys to future Links and stuff.

I think what happened to Link should be left unknown, and that you should use your imagination to decide what happened to him.
Still knowing and reading about it would be neat.

Thinking up your own endings never really worked with me. After all, I could think he became a tree or commitied suicide. See? Way to broad...and stupid. (see tree example)

Perhaps...it's best that the life each Link lives after being a hero is left unknown. This could be because it hasn't actually been thought of as anything important, or because it might be a spoiler for other games, if the two had timelines close to eachother or continued or....whatever. xD As a small example, I jokingly think that the OoT Link, if he remembered anything from his adventure, would be a little....disturbed, having memories of crossdressing Princesses, painful Goron hugs, giant half-naked fairies, and slimy zora fiance's. As I said, I only think this as a joke. >.>;

The closest to any Link's future I can think of is the one from tWW, only for the fact that we all know he went off to find "a new Hyrule" and that still doesn't say anything, except that he left Outset Island for a new place to call home.

i think that would be really cool, nintendo should make an autobiography of all there charicters, like samus, link, mario etc etc

Not knowing what happens to the heros after they complete their destinies and have saved Hryule gives you the chance to use your imagination. Not everything has to be explained....using your imagination opens possibilites that no game could ever bring.

I would, however, like an official timeline but an explanation of how the hero dies or how he lives after the events in the game really dosent matter to me.

I believe that it is nice to use our own imagination but I have to say that Miyamoto has a better imagination.

Psh. Miyamoto dosen't have anything to do with the stories, just the general concept.

I would like to know what happened to the Links. I'm feeling less and less attached to the whole series as more and more Links pop out of the woodwork. It's too cyclical, like starting over every single time. It takes away from Ganondorf's potency as a villain in my opinion because it's like "Oh, look, there's Ganondorf, the evil incarnation of darkness. Not to worry, any totally random kid in with a green hat can vanquish him."

I'm beginning to feel no connection whatsoever with Link, when the whole point, IIRC, was always that

"You ARE the character!!!!!11one".

!!! Ok Ive had It!!! where and how did you find out link is afraid to put The Feirce Deitys Mask or was it made up because of its wickedness.

this is a link for whoever started this thread and also for whoever is interested in link's autobiography. Read and comment, I found it very interesting!

I know, it's a very good fanfic. Zelda and Link belong together! I also loved the Medli/Link pairing.
