Bosses

Are there any bosses you have seen before in other zeldas, but want to appear in TP?

I think I would like a reapparence of the Shadow Hag in OoA, she was a very interesting boss, and rather nasty to beat. Also Barinade was a great boss, he made an interesting appearance, fight and death. It seems Queen Gohma is making an appearance, but who else?

Anyway. Do you have any favorite bosses, and want to see them again, alongside new foes?

Re: Bosses

I'd like to see Dark Link as a boss or mini-boss again and I'd like to see Twinrova and Morpha again.
They are just bosses that I LOVE to beat and thought werevery unique and interesting.
So I hope to see them in this game in addition with a few other bosses.
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
It seems though that a creature like Kalle Demos will appear in this game, look at this picture!

Re: Bosses

I would like to battle dark link again,he was pretty challenging I would always hate it when you would swing at him and he'd jump on top of your sword.

I would like to see Twinrova again. I liked that part at the end with the two witches arguing. I'd also like to see Morpha and Bongo Bongo.

I would like to see Volvaga again, from Death mountain in LoZ. Whack-a-dragon was my most favorite pastime. I start cleaning my hammer imediantly.

Re: Bosses

I would like more bosses with personality, and story. Volvagia, Gohma, Vitreous... they're all great, but they're just there. They have no backstory. No dialogue. No reason for speaking.

I want someone like Agahnim, or Twinrova - actual characters that have a place in the story, and aren't just there for the sake of having a big boss to fight.

OoT's other bosses took a tiny little step in that direction. Volvagia was an ancient enemy of the gorons brought back to life. Gohma was killing the Deku Tree. Bongo-Bongo was an ancient shadow spirit that had previously been defeated and sealed beneath the well by Impa. There was also the Helmaroc King, from tWW - it was Ganon's pet, and kidnapped your sister, etc. But it wasn't quite good enough.

Twinrova was great though. They were Ganondorf's surrogate mothers. They taught him to use dark magic. They are the eldest of the Gerudo. They brainwaish Nabooru. They talk to you and to each other.

Agahnim was even better, for similar reasons.

Re: Bosses

I have changed my mind. I think I agree with lord-of-shadow. Agahim was a great villian. He had some real character. He was the perfect second in command.

Re: Bosses

There has been a topic about this already I think

I just want to see phantom ganon back, Oot style. I already mentioned once that it would be cool chasing him down the woods on your horse, while avoiding trees, branches and rocks.

If there's on boss I don't want to see back, then it's the Bongo Bongo/Godam Type. I just don't really like those bosses, and it's to easy to defeat them.

Re: Bosses

actualy i would love to see Twinrova again, when reading through this i read where they were fighting when they died (was funny tho)

well i would love to see the 2 witches back, it would be funny to have them say something like 'Hey its you again! you fooled with our plans for the last time!' and they do their stupid laugh, they assume its the link from OoT because of his green cloths.

haha that would be so cool to see xD

Re: Bosses

My favourite boss is Twinrova I do not know why I just really enjoyed fighting here,
She had two stages the first being koume and kopake and then they fused in to twinrove.
I would like to see here back, but a little more challenging.

Re: Bosses

If you ask me, re-using bosses from older games is cheap and unoriginal. Sure, they'll probably bring back one old favourite, but I hope no more than that.

Re: Bosses

I would like to see Bongo Bongo again, but with more a reason to exist, as los mentioned. I want to know that it takes a place in the story, and it's not just an obstacle that gets in your way. And I too, think that they should make new bosses, and stop reusing them, as they did with Ghoma and Dodongos (although just enemies now) over and over.

Re: Bosses

I think Morpha would be a great boss to elaborate on. It should be able to shape shift and have a wicked case of identety crisis. It would have pieces of the personalities of the people it had absorbed and in the second round it would fuse withShadow Link. They are a package, unless SL happens to be a plushie at the time.

Re: Bosses

I would like to see darklink again also but I don't think there should be too many bosses from the old zeldas. I would like to see new creative bosses in TP. I would like to be surprised with bosses.

Re: Bosses

We will most likely and hopefully see a lot new bosses. Every game actually has a new boss, but they just got a new look or bigger, or a new boss based on an older boss.

Though the game will better have a realistic phantom ganon like Oot. OR ELSE!
