TP's Place in the Zelda Timeline

Does anyone know where it fits into the chronology? I was thinking after the WW, but I may be wrong. If anyone has knowledge on this, please tell me.

It's been confirmed that the game takes place after The Wind Waker, I believe.

Okay, here is another one: (sorry)
Will Hyrule be restored to its state in OoT? I haven't played WW, so sorry if this question is "stupid"...

Re: TP's Place in the Zelda Timeline

I have a theory about draining Hyrule. Would you like to discuss it with me in that thread? (It's the one with massive spoilers for WW and Baten Kaitos.)

We don't know if it's a new Hyrule or a drained one, after the events of Ocarina of Time, but it's likely it's the same place that Ocarina of Time took place in. I really suggest you play The Wind Waker, because there's a lot of interesting plot information in it, aside from being a great game.

And I'm not 100% sure as to the game's placement in the overall timeline. Can anyone else confirm or deny it?

EDIT: TP fitting between OoT and tWW

Apparently I'm wrong, and the game takes place after Ocarina of Time.

WRONG!!! I get to say YOUR wrong! :p It is confirmed that that was a mis-translation and infact it takes place AFTER WW... SO..... When the interview was being translated the translator mixed "before" with "after" and said that he said "before WW" when it was accually "After WW"...
After OOT, BEFORE WW
Correction.

That seems to be the predominate opinion. I might get a Cube, but I might wait until the Revolution.

HaHa I get to say you are WRONG. Just because one site says it is a mis translation doesn't make it true. NINTENDO itself says it takes place between OoT and WW. Thank you. Go check Nintendo.com if you don't believe me. It says it.

Re: TP's Place in the Zelda Timeline

Doesn't it simply take place between OoT and WW?
That's what I've heard.

Re: TP's Place in the Zelda Timeline

Everyone seems to be forgetting that just a few months before the release of TWW Miyamoto said that it takes place before OoT. Here's a link:

http://www.miyamotoshrine.com/theman...ews/0702.shtml

What I'm getting at is that you can't trust anything they say about the timeline before the game is released.
