Contest

My friend recently got Nintendo power and apparently there is a contest offering the first 25 copies of the tp long before it is realesed.

Oh WOW!!!

But then again, me theory is: the quicker you get it, the quicker you beat it. Sides you'd want to discuss the story, and you coudln't.

Unless they get it... a month or more before everyone else it's not really worth it. They do that with movies sometimes and they see it two days before the movie comes out. Woot. The movie has already been leaked on the 'net.

That's pretty neat, though... to get a video game early.

Wow that is cool but only if it is really and not just a hoax, I will have to ask my cousin because he get that magazine.

Ya. Whats the rush? I am extreamaly pumped about this game. I think every one is quite anxious to see what its gonna bring into Zelda.

But I can wait. And I wanna make it last as long as possible. Who knows when the next game on the GC will come out? So I wanna make it last. It will be alot more enjoyable that way anyways.

It is not a hoax I saw it with my own eyes in the nintendo power issue.

I agree. I want to savour a game like this, they don't come along often.

Yeah hopfully when someone wins the contest they can give us a little insight into what the game will actually be like.

Once the game is released, whether to the general public or through this sweepstakes, I'm going into self-Exile from Zelda sites. I don't want ANY MORE spoilers other than info released before the game comes out.

I have the issue and it does have a contest but it dosent say you will get it early (by weeks or months) it merly says that you will get one of the FIRST 25 copies but nothing about getting it a major time before others do. I am sure that winners will probably get it a day before or maybe two but no sooner than that (they dont want it leaking on the internet before it comes out)

I agree fully with you. If any info leaked out it would ruin the excitment. The details would ruin the whole story and it wouldn't be the same when you first play it. You'll say, "Hey! I know whats around that corner!' or something like that. It's like playing a Zelda game for the second time, you already know what will happen; or when someone tells you the ending of a movie. :mad: I think too many spoilers have already been released, and when these 25 "lucky" people get this game i'm going into exile myself!

It's neat that they're holding such a contest. I miss so much when I'm not suscribed to NP. Or when they forget to send me my issues of NP... Unless the post office has been keeping them

Good thing I jumped on the getting of 3 issues for registering some of my Nintendo stuff. (I've been meaning to do just that, but I keep forgetting.)

I do hope that something special is done for those folks who pre-order it or already have it pre-ordered... Folks like me. ^_^ I wouldn't care what it is. It could be the OST. An action figure! (How about that ever elusive OOT Zelda action figure?) Or even a plushie! Woot!

i still didn't get mine and i want to know how to win the contest with rules and everything for first 25 copies of TP

oh and i think those 25 copies and limited edition thing where you get extra stuff....no wonder it's so special to get it lol

That would be awesome!! Get it first and brag to your friends how lucky u are!! But I really rather just wait until it comes out and savour the game and its beauty! I really want the game, but whats the rush, right?

Its the July issue of NP and it does feature a contest but like I said before (no one seems to notice) that the contest says NOTHING about the winners getting it earlier than all of the others it just says that the 25 grand prize winners will get one of the first 25 copies. If the winners get it early it would be the day before the official release date (that way no information can be leaked on the internet.)
