Twilight Princess Second Quest

With the new Zelda game being much bigger than OoT, it has been given the oppurtunity to muster all the Zelda qualities into one game. One thing I'd like to see in the new game is a Second Quest. And I mean an actual second quest, not just changing Link's clothes and reading hyrule script (ie wind waker).

The new game's second quest should have changed dungeons, harder to be exact, and add a bit more depth to the story line if possible.

What are your thoughts on a Second Quest in Twilight Princess?

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

Well, the second quest, I want it like that but if the game does have one I doubt its going to be like that. They would sell it seperatly if it was like that, just like master quest.

I'd prefer it if they just made the first quest twice as long, really.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

for a second quest, I would like a small subquest after the game is finished. Link is at home in taoru, in his farmboy cloths, but he is called by Zelda to take care of some gobline resistance or somthing of that manner. Link must go to the goblin fortress, from the basement up, and finally have a fun battle with the goblin general.

I wouldnt want the after quest to be that big, just somthing to keep that player excited after the main quest is finished.

Or perhaps, there could be a sort of after game in which link can play through all the other links adventures.
All nintendo would need to do is at the end of everydungeon, replace the end item with somthing like a crystal, or a sage medallion, or an essance, or a triforce peice. the game would play as, OoT, Alttp, OoS/OoA, then finally LoZ, the player could have 4 totally different experiences, and in each after game, the dungeons would get progressivly harder, until, in the LoZ after game, it would be a sort of Zelda godly difficulty if you will.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

If this game is bigger than OoT, isn't the chance for it to have a second quest smaller? Something simple like in WW or AoL is enough for me.

Second quest... mabey the beta version of the game? And not just beating it, I mean doing all the side-quests, getting all the items, etc. etc. etc.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

I don't think the game designers would put two whole parts in to a game, really. It would be too much work on their part, and nothing I would ever expect of them. Maybe a few little side-quests or extra areas after the game is beaten that further develop the games main characters, but not much more than that.

I think they should make the game good enough to be played over and over - without the need of a 2nd quest

What are your thoughts on a Second Quest in Twilight Princess?
That would be very purposeless. To play a second quest and realize that they actually expanded on the story would be enfuriating to me. I want the first experience to be the real thing--a full blown first quest that leaves you so winded that you couldn't possibly ask for a second one.

Besides, Zelda Guardian is right. If they did release something like that, it would either be an expansion or an entirely different piece of equipment. I could understand wanting a second quest with more competent enemies and harder dungeons, but I doubt Nintendo will do something like that without releasing it as an expansion.

Now... who here wants the Revolution? Backwards compatability, anyone?

Now that's a good idea. In OoT, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to travel around Hyrule and witness the fruits of my effort. Particularly, I felt unfulfilled about not being able to see the princess again. I'd love to be able to travel around Hyrule after defeating Ganondorf (assuming he's behind all this trouble) and see all the people I helped along the way. Knowing that everyone appreciates all the trouble you went through leaves you feeling satisfied with your actions.

I think it a second quest you should be able to control all animals, and all people even enemys.
And have a way to change music anyware any time. And yes harder temples and enemys.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

hmmm for the 2nd quest, Should be something cool. Like if the Master Sword is it in (or some other powerful sword and shield) You should be able to get that at the start of your 2nd quest... Makes thing a little bit more interesting

With the new Zelda game being much bigger than OoT
They never said it would be bigger, they said the world was larger than OoT which is obvious. However they were careful not to say there was more or less content, they just said they wanted to surpass OoT's quality.

Given the fact that more detailed graphics lead to longer development times and the state of the games industry at the moment you will not find TP to have more content and take longer to complete than OoT.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

I think that they've recently stated that it'll have more dungeons.

Anyway, why do everyone compare it with Master Quest? Forgotten that there was a second quest (MUCH better than MQ, by the way) in LoZ. That one even had different dungeons.

If the game is so that it only needs one disc, I think it'd be cool to have a second disc with a second quest where the dungeons are different and MUCH harder than in the first quest.

Because MQ is basically the 2nd quest of OoT.

Re: Twilight Princess Second Quest

It'd be good if you could save and continue after you win. People would say different things, maybe you could get a new novelty item, et cetera. That's what I found annoying about OOT, and even more so in MM. Even after you win, you've only won for about 5-6 minutes while the ending scene plays, then it's The End and the next time you turn the game on you're back to not having won.
