TOWNS!

How do you think towns will be in twilight princess So far I have noticed many thoughts such as:

-Towns will be huge and full of interaction.
-Towns will be far apart.
-Towns will likely have outlying farms.
-Towns will have large buildings.
- I think they will have bars, or restaurants.
- They will likely have a lot of detail.
-Since there is a war going on there may be soldiers as you get closer to Hyrule.
-I think there will be castles in some of them.
There will likely be an enemy city in the twilight realm which once belonged to the Hylians.
-I am pretty sure that there will be hotels.
-Hopefully there will be some sort of relegious building in the main town.
-It would be cool if the major cities have walls.
-Everyone should have a house.
-Shops should be useful and full of things such swords and maces.

I have many more thoughts on this so I must get back to you later.

Remember, these are thoughts, not facts.

I would not like to see bars or restaurants in the game. Rather, I like Cafes. However, outlying farms might be a good idea.

i would love to see soldiers wealking around, in oot there were only like 10 that u could see, i would like to see way more, makes it seem more midevil

BoT, we saw what toaru village had to offer, and so far, it looks great. I hope others towns (if there are any) will be as interactive as taoru is.

All the villagers were going about their daily work, children playing, water flowing, it was truely a living, breathing, town.

I hope most certainly hope there will be more, bigger and better than taoru

I'm sure Hyrule Town/City will have two or three-storey tall buildings like in the first (beta) version of Hyrule Castle Market Town in OoT.

Other than that... I expect other towns to look like Link's hometown. Nothing fancy but they will probably be bigger than towns in previous games.

It's very clear they want the game to look big this time.

Personally, I'd love to see an inn. And more houses, too. In OoT there were certain people (like the spinning couple) that didn't have houses. If they did, you never got to see them. A bar-type atmosphere (ala Harvest Moon) would be interesting to see, especially if done right.

The setup in WW was good for the fact that everybody you saw during the day you could find at night. I think this is a big plus and should be in there. Also what would be nice if you had people that were travelling through the town and just passed by. Also I liked clocktown as it had an Inn and had lots of shops and gamehouses. Ofcourse the main reason was that it was the primary city but I would like to see more of that kind of towns in TP. Also that you had sub-quests that would have you travelling to the diffrent townes.

And towns for the hopefully diffrent species. Maybe even that you have two kinds of each species like Gorons living in the mountains and Gorons living in deep caves.

I think an inn like the Potkettle Inn would be useful, only much bigger and varied. It should be in somewhere like Hyrule Castle Town (if it still exists), and there could be people from over Hyrule there. Like, some Zoras wanting to do some sightseeing, a Goron on business, and some Gerudo girl hunting herself a boyfriend (mabye she could give the eye of approval at Link, only he blushes and turns away.)

Agreed. I always wondered where the peeps went when it was night time. Did they just vanish into thin air? (Especially in Windfall Island when it is full of peeps, but in the night, there are only like what? 3 people? Where did the other ones go?)

Bars and Restuarants? I hope they have it here. Seeing people interact in there will give out a feeling that we are living in a medieval era (but with a Zelda touch of course)

I am really happy that there are going to be bigger towns in Twilight Princess. And I want to see multiple villages for all the races. Not just one area for the Zoras and the Gorons but multiple cities for them. And more interactivity with all the people in the towns. And it would be nice if every one had a house. And I liked having an Inn in MM, also the bar is a cool idea. And also I would likerestaraunts were you could eat.

I have said this in my thread, but it would be pah-sweet if you could take your horse into the actual town, rather than ranches and a desert like we've seen before. Also, the setup should be like a midevil... setup. Towns mostly near rivers and lakes or, which would be cool if they have these, bays. That would make the towns spread out and if you didn't want to scour across the coninant, you could follow a water source. That, of course, is assuming that they make it to where you can go from the ocean on one side, to an ocean on the other. That's just my thoughts.

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot something, it would be really cool if there was town right next to the ocean, and there could be little tents set up on the beach were you could buy stuff. Just the whole town on the beach idea sounds cool to me.

Oh, like you had Slateport City in Pokemon Sapphire?

I think the general same stuff about the towns. So like OoT towns, but better.

no way should link carry a mace. he always just went through with like 3-4 swords throughout his games, he doesnt need maces, spears, whatever.

I wonder what names the towns will have. Well, the other towns. Maybe the names of the sages from Ocarina of Time/Adventure of Link? I think it would be interesting to see a more 3D version of Kasuto town.

I expect alot from the Hyrule city (the CITY that Link is going to in the firstplace, to go to the festival)
I would like that there is many tall buildings that would havae been awesome.

I hope it has the Market's theme.
