Any Musical Instruments?

We heard about the basics of the new Zelda but still the I haven't seen the Trandemark of all Zelda's, which is the music. In nearly every Zelda you had a musical instrument with Ocarina being one of the most common. Is gona be any musical instrument for TP? Will the moments, in wich you learned or played a new song, that all Zelda fans love be repeated, or are times to be forgoten?

I love the musical instruments in the zelda series...and i'm hoping we'll see one in the Twilight Princess but all we've seen so far is the hawk grass and the...horse?..grass...lol...but maybe you'll get an instrument before you leave the ranch or maybe when you meet zelda for the first time...i'd be kinda annoyed if you had to keep searching for a piece of grass to call epona with....they're probably not showing it to us so it can be a surprise..obviously...i don't know...hopefully it's something different and not an ocarina although i wouldn't mind if it was again...

I wouldn't mind a musical instrument again, but I think the whole "learn-new-melodies-throughout-your-journey" thing has been done enough. I don't really want to see another music-oriented story. But an item that serves one specific purpose, like the flutes in LoZ and ALttP, would be pretty cool.

There HAS to be a musical instument!! There HAS TO BE! That`s one of my favorite parts of the game. They can`t just take the music out.. to forever be forgotten.... I know Epona`s song is gone, because Link uses a Whistle to call her. I hope they don`t take the instuments out though.

In the footage I saw it looked like you already knew all the songs. Could be just for the demo though. So I think you know most of the songs: Epona, song for your hawk. I think you'll get some kind of instrument maybe something like a pannflute. But I think it might not play such a big role this time as it been done quite often now. I won't mind but probaly others will.

Second Link does use Epona's song to call for her.

I would like to have the Ocarina of Time find its way to Hyrule somehow. They can't have the Elegy of Emptiness as the last song, they can't!

If not an ocarina, how about a Harp? The harp of ages was pretty cool. The Wind Waker annoyed me too much, its not really very interesting, I liked some of the songs a lot, but mostly those screechy gospel voices annoyed me.

I like the idea of Link sitting on a log playing a pan-flute as a hawk circles overhead and Epona sits dutifully by, grazing the grass. It's just a great image.

Let's see, the Legend of Zelda, the piece of grass of Time does not really have a ring to it.

I want to have some kind of instrument, as long as it plays decent music, not weird wailey sounds.

Maybe he uses an Eagle Bone to call the Hawk, but I'm not sure though.

I'm quite sure he uses grass to whistle for the eagle, as well as the horse.

I wouldn't mind having another ocarina. It feels tottally Zeldaish to me.

Well, you can play Eppona's song on the grass. Anyways, I don't think you will have and instrument. But I sure hope that I am wrong.

I really like the different grasses (Horse grass, Hawk grass, and possibly more) that play different music. I think it is a very interesting and creative new part of TP and I really dont miss having an insturment. However if we were to have an insturment I wouldnt mind.

That is a very interesting twist to create something out of something that helped define Zelda; music and musical instruments.

I really hope link doesnt have a magical intrument.... if he does, I dont want it to be that important

They're fun, but it may be even better with out it. It'd ad a new flavor, possibly. It may screw it up but who knows.

What about the piano of twilight? a lit to heavy maybe

But I think they will add an instrument of some kind of sort, maybe a flute, or just simply the wind waker, ( didn't the one who gave ww link the wind waker said that the wind waker was used by a great hero or does I remember wrong?)

I was thinking about that yesterday, hopefully there will be plenty of these grass whistles about so you don't have to run around looking or running back to where you last saw one, would add more gameplay but would get annoying.
