Magic Items in Twilight (?)

It's true that there is hardly any Zelda were Magic is not used (actualy the game is magic itself hehe ) But still there are magics that have been come and gone like Dins fire or the Silver arrows. Do you think it'd time for them (and not only) to reapear or should new Magics to be added? Personaly i would love to see Link doing some serious damage with Dins fire in TP. So what do you think?

I'd like to see the Medallions from ALttP brought back. In 3D. That would own. And how about the Fire and/or Ice Rod as well?

I would like forms of elemental magic. Water, fire, light ect.

That sounds cool but how about casting magic in your weapons? For example Fire magic to the sword results the fire sword so beating tough plant enemies is easier etc.

I agree completely. They were useful and yes, their effects would look awesome in 3D. The Fire Rod was also very useful. Although the Ice Rod wasn't really necessary, I liked using it and would like to see it again, if nothing else than for pure nostalgia. I'd also like to see spells like in AoL that would temporarily give Link a heightened ability, like high jumping, etc.

evidence of a magic meter is prettty much non existant, however The Twilight Realm will probably hold a plethera of magics that Midna could use, Link himself, I 'm not sure, but it's possible. The Gale Boomerang doesn't appear to use Magic, but other magical items may.

Well there is some proof. Well don't know if it uses magic could also be using more realistic lamp oil. But I saw a video of live footage and in that video Link was walking with his lamp it was in the item box so that rules out thoughts that Link will use it automaticly. Also there was a yellow meter that was draining slowly. So that could be magic but could also be a form of oil.

I do hope that they make some new magic in the game.

WHOH! SWEET! that will be soo cool!

Let's not forget, Link hardly ever starts of with a magic meter, usually its bestowed upon by a great fairy or a particular item.

I would like to see Lind become more of a mage. Maybe he could chain his spells and what not to create combos. Like a water spell followed by wood spell creates an supercharged wood spell. Then it would be more like swordfighting.

Aaah, thats only because I like mages in games best, I think Link is okay the way he is.

But I would like some elemental magic of sorts.

Ah, but adding magelike powers to Link has the potential to make the game too easy. I think it's best that he just stick with the abilities he has.

I totally agree, I just hope to see Nayru's Love, Din's Fire, and Farore's Wind again. Also maybe the Deku Leaf, I LOVED that item!!!
