Horse tricks.

I have been looking at the trailers and, as we all should know, the swordsmanship while on the horse will be a new and cool addition. I would like to know if Link can ride the horse in towns. It would be nice if you could ride on the horse as you enter town and walk in the "streets". I also think that for big towns like Hyrule, they gave you a stable area to leave it. What do you think?

I hope it's true. I think it would seem even more realistic if you could.

Re: Horse tricks.

You could walk through some of the towns (Gerudo's Fortress +Lon Lon Ranch are sorts of towns) in OOT and MM (Clock Town). But I hope you can ride the horse and get different reactions from townsfolk (i think streetsweepers will be giving you very dirty looks )

Hyrule Castle Town, Kakariko Village, Zora's Domain, Goron City, Kokiri Forest. But then again, those were impassible by Epona, (she would have to swim, climb ect.) so those don't count. I would like for this horse to enter a town, and have people react to the horse.

I dont think you can since you can only call epona ove to you in termina field and every entrance to the town has a step that epona cant get up, she just runs into it nahys and steps back

Re: Horse tricks.

It would be good while your riding if you could turn on your saddle, face backwards, let off some arrows into the faces of your foes chasing you then twist back.

Won't happen, but it looks good in my head.

Re: Horse tricks.

I also agree with the above. Being able to ride your horse in town would cut down a lot on time spent running back and forth. Maybe you'd even get yelled at.

"Your horse doesn't belong in town! Disgraceful!"
"Ahh!"
"Get it AWAY!"

that would be great, you could also have people diving out the way when your galloping fast through the courtyards

I think there's a glitch that allows you to ride.

I think riding a horse in town would just save a TON of time.

Re: Horse tricks.

Do you mean Toaru? I don't think that counts, since its a big rural village, what I wanna know if you can ride the horse in places like Hyrule Castle Town.

Re: Horse tricks.

the ownly problem that i see is that would suck if you got to lazy and were allway on you horse walking is fun to and it makes the game last longer (of course we probly wont have to worry about that 70+ hours of gameplay!!!

Re: Horse tricks.

The levels wouldn't let the horse in. It would actually be funny if you tried to bring the horse with you and it got scared and Link falls off and it runs away. You could still do whatever you do to get to horse to come to you, and it would be... realistic.

Cool.

I also think it would be cool if Link could ride into town and get nasty looks, muttering, etc. I also think that in real life (in the time Link exists in) people who were traveing usually rode on horses like we drive in cars and that adding the feature that would enable you to ride in a town would make it more realistic and fun.
