Yes another new TP thread

I know that these threads are getting out of hand but I just thought of something very interesting.

Since this game takes place a few decades away from OoT wouldn't it be cool if TP Link sees OoT Link. Like what if TP Link just say this old man through his journey following him around. Wouldn't that be cool. OoT Link could be around 60 or something and see if Young 16 year old Link screws up. If he does then Older Link could come in and help him. I think that would be sweet to see an older version of the HoT.

Anyways your thoughts and opinions on this idea are welcomed.

And we'd see a very old lady, who is actually Malon! Or whoever he ended up marrying.

I think it would just be stupid, because having two link's in a game will only make the gamers confused. And it would been annoying to have to wait for a 60 year old guy while fighting in a dungeon.
New link: Hurry up we have to save the princess
Old Link: let me just rest for an hour or two.

OMG he didn't marry any one,.. he left to Terminia and after he saved
the land no one knows what happend after that...

He must have done, because Link in a LttP is supposed to be his descendant. That's what I heard at least. Shrugs
He may have come back for Malon and rode off into the sunset together, and setteled down somewhere. I think Link would be happier with a normal country girl, she is the only girl who fancied him who did not end up a sage or something. Anyway back on topic.

This game is supposed to be set after WW. If I hear one more person telling me the opposite and another confirming it, I think my head will explode.

I don't really think that an old Link should be there unless you don't have to wait for him and he is out of the way. I don't think he should help but he should give you something. Or you visist his grave, kinda like Dampe, and you visit his spirit. That would be cool.

I agree, besides the other problem:

New Link: Have you heard?! Zelda has disseapered! They think she has been kidnaaped.

Old Link: Well ofcourse she has been kidnapped, she's been helt by Ganon in that tower over there. But we can't enter till we have done these stupid temples, I have had enough of my share of those, besides if we go now or next month we'll always just be too late and have to do another couple of those bloody temples. And why do I got &#@!%@! 3 hearts I had finally got 20 of them last time. Every time I start with a #@%@ freaking 3 hearts.

New Link: Great, every hero gets either a beautiful girl or lots of rupee. What do I get? A deprested old man with a midlife crisis... ****** it I'm getting out of here...

First you get the Rupees, then you get the Triforce, then you get the women.

If I remembered corectly you always use the triforce to undo the damage that Ganon has done to the world.
The rupees you have to spend on verious potions
The women? Well you do get those on some occations. I personally would have loved the option at the end of MM to spend the rest of your live at the ranch.

It would be quite diffecult, those aliens are always trying to give poor Romani a lobatomy. Link would have save here every year.

No, I think the Romani would probably start drooling on Link after a while.

But then again, if Link never returned to Hyrule, I hope Romani and Link got together.

Personally I think Link fancies Cremia more

As for Link's descendant, the descendant of who? Link from MM or WW. Maybe he's the descendant of a Link we don't know about?

I've always thought this would be a good idea. OoT Link guiding you sort of half-seen through your adventure. Not trailing after you or any of that crap, just kind've appearing Sheik-like here and there at critical points. Or he's the Captain of the Guard with a mysterious past you learn about in detail later in your journey or something.

Heck, you could even have him play a role somewhat akin to that of the Ninja from Twin Snakes, except he's just testing you or something even though you think he's an enemy at first. Not insane and tormented like Gray Fox.
