Exclamation Zora City?

Many Zelda fans are wondering if the Zoras will be in the upcoming game (TP). If they are, there might be an underwater Zora City! It's not all that far fetched if you think about it; the game is going to be three times larger than Oot, and all the evil in Hyrule may force the Zoras to live underwater. So if you think about it, it's quite possible! Feel free to post your opinions here. Have a nice day!

Re: Zora City?

It is true, they have been emphasising underwater areas to the game.

You know what I'd love to see? Two seperate camps, a regular zora city and a river zora city that would function similar to the Gerudo Fortress. Well, I think that'd be neat at least.

Re: Zora City?

I hope the Zoras are back. The Rito were so stupid they are not fit to evolve from Zora. The only thing they deserve to describe as their ancestors are pigeons.

Or mabye some Rito, I suppose, as long as they don't look so annoying (how they hell do they kiss with that goddam parrot bill sticking ot, is that whey their eyes are so red, cos they gouge eachother's eyes so much?). They could look like a great race if they are given the technocolour dustoff that they so sorely need.

The Zoras will look great, they already looked gorgy in OoT. I hope one of the charas is like Ruto. I want to hear the Zora's domain music done with a new orchastra.

Goes away humming.

Re: Zora City?

Why on earth did you find the Rito stupid? I found them to fit really well in the WW world. But that's probally personal. Ow go look for birds on a sunny day you'll see how the kiss

I would love it when the cities of the Zora and Goron where bigger. They were always so small in comparison with the other towns. An underwater city that looks somewhat have the build that they give Atlantis most times. (A Greek like city)

Re: Zora City?

I think a deep-water thing a bit like Gunga City from The Phantom Menace would be pretty cool, in addition to another grotto-like Zora's Domain dwelling.

Re: Zora City?

Zora's damn better be in this game. I would love to see a zora domain Oot style, just bigger. The reflection of the water on the walls is always beautiful, so imagine what it would look like in TP.
They also damn better have a lake or beautiful river again, or else!

On another note, I thought the Rito's were ok, but I also don't like the fact of zora's turning into Rito's. It just doesn't feel right.

Re: Zora City?

I loved Zora Hall, but it seemed a bit too much like something out of the Little Mermaid for my tastes.

I prefer something like a massive system of grottos of caverns and cascades, with Zora dwellings hacked out of the rock. Mabes with massive open air lakes, where the Zoras socialize and discuss affairs. I liked the way the Zoras lived in harmony with nature.

I don't hate all the Rito, I love Medli, and Komali is sweet sometimes (waiting for her with his little flower ^_^), but I probably would have liked them better if they had not replaced the Zora for them, or prehaps more variation among them (a vain one who was a peacock, mabye an owl, a hummingbird, cranes and nightingales. Why did they all have to be eagles?)

Re: Zora City?

Hmmm. Maybe I should draw the aforesaid Ruto Squarepants.

But the ritos are not really birds, they are look like humans with a beak and wings slapped on. Anyway Medli is a duck. So howabout changing their human features to recreate bird features, or changing wings and tails and things. I mean there is variation among humans, so why not rito. There is variation among Zora (the indigo-gos, Ruto, Mikau, old zora in OoA) but only among key charas.

I would like to remind you all that Zoras evolving into Rito was only a THEORY.

Anyway, I like what Feline Witch said, about the open lakes and the caverns. And who mentioned a river Zora settlement? That wouldn't fit, because river Zoras are crude and vulgar animals, unlike the civilized humans (as evil as they may be) that the Gerudo pirates are. And I happen to like the Rito. They fit PERFECTLY with the Wind Waker's world, as someone else said (can't remember who because everyone's sigs and avys are the same... TP Link, TP Link, TP Link...).

Re: Zora City?

That was me. I liked the fresh water caverns in OoT, and I would love a city like that, I am not too keen on an Atlantis type city. If it was in Hyrule, there would be nowere to put a gigantic city, since Hyrule is landlocked.

Anyway, the zora evolving into Rito would be better, because overwise they would be extinct in Hyrule (like I think the Gerudo are). It means they might de-evolve back. Medli gives you her grappling hook, saying that is what Rito used befoe they evolved wings. That may or may not be a reference. But I can't really imagine the Zoras evolving into Rito myself, they are just completely different races.

MODS, DO NOT DELETE THIS

YOU WANT TO SEE 'EM WITH SO-CALLED "GOOD GRAPHICS," GET A GODDAMN N64!!! AND CEL-SHADING ISN'T "BAD," IT'S JUST DIFFERENT.

You are shallow. Unless you played through TWW. In that case, I'm sorry I blew up at you.

Re: Zora City?

An underground Zora's Domain with many waterfalls, tunnels, and cavern dwellings would be very cool to see. I think there's a good chance that there will be Zoras in TP seeing as there's a water-based dungeon. (As in OoT Water Temple, not TWW Tower of the Gods.)
