Majoras Mask!

This is a very strange thing that I noticed in the TP trailer. When I was looking at Midna's face, I noticed that her eye and the eye on her mask were strikingly similar to the eyes on Majora's mask. Could there be a connetion? I highly dought it, but check it out for yourself. And feel free if you want to leave a post here. Have a nice day!

Maybe Nintendo has a thing for creepy and oddly-placed orange eyes? Good find, I wish I could use my bucket of brains (right...) to come up with a theory.

It does make sense. One thing that may support your theory is that a portal opened in the sky and termina is another dimension. Maybe after Link killed Majora she was swept back to HYrule(i think she comes from there) and returned to her normal form or she took on another.

I find it believable. Not only that the eyes are similar, but the names are close. I doubt that they put that much thought into it, but it isn't impossible. This is Zelda, nothing is impossible.

Possible, but I don't believe it. Nintendo rips themselves off ocasionally, and besides I don't see that much connection in the eye. MM if far rounder than Midna's.

That's a cool idea, I would love it if Nintendo had some references to MM. I think we need to know a bit more about Midna though to be really sure.

Maybe they could be siblings or related somehow? Midna seems to look like Gohdan and Majora's Mask mushed in to one teensy evil-looking shrimp body.

There is no connection. Although the eye on Minda's mask looks like Majora's Mask's eye, I do not believe there is a connection.

It could just be a design bleed. The portals look alot like that in the Tower of the Gods as we've all seen, but it doesn't imply any connection. Perhaps that was the best way to represent an eye while keeping with the style of the mask.

or maybe shes wearing a futuristic design close to that of the mask with one piece replacing her eye...

I could belive that, since this game is going to take place a decades after Oot and MM, so it is slightly believable. It would be cool though to see some sort of connection between the games though.

nintendo wouldnt just make a connection like that so subtle. look at link as a wolf, beside his eyes being the same color, he has 2 earrings, and green fur going down his neck and back. So....no, majora isnt related to midna. not to also mention MM takes place in its own timeline, where its a sidequest showing what happens to link after he teleports back in time at the end of OoT. The TP and WW happen in the continuing timeline of the 7 year later Hyrule at the end of OoT.

do us all a favor and please dont ruin the fun for us to dream, who knows you could be wrong! we still have about five or six months before we actually find out when it's released. who knows, no one but the makers of this game...

yeah im expressing my opinion, so i dont know for real, but i think this is far fetched.

I think that the mask would be much too obvious of a connection, if there is one. The possibility exists, but what role would Majora, a being created in a parallel universem play in here?

I think the more subtle connections like WLink's fur being slightly golden around the darker patches are pretty spiffy.

Also remember, people thought that the Wolf thing wat far fetched...

I don't support nor deny the theory, I just want more info before I make a decision.

majora was a bad guy, midna is a bad girl [excuse the bad pun] their names are near identical... maybe midna is majora's wife! lol anothe bad pun!

Yeah, could be like a different kind of evil mask.

Maybe majoras mask has like asimilar copy but not related

I'm thinking it's just a little reference. I doubt it will directly connect to MM.
