Twilight Princess Fairies?

Now i know what line you're all thinking of at this very moment right. " hey! if you want to open a door press the @ button, pay attention to what the action icon says" right? but i thought navi and tatl (go tatl!!!! \_/ ) added interesting twists to the storyline. and it is still funny today to make fun of navi, heh heh . so are there going to be faires? i want to know what you think, i personally think no, but i hope there will. i mean if they have them, they give you tips, and tell you the names of mosters, instead of having to call an awesome boss, giant lava scorpin, or giant sand scorpion, or giant tulip with a bad temper.

I also wonder about the appearances if the fairies, the ones in tww (bottled ones) were almost as much a dissapointment as the ganon in there ( he looks like the guy from dodgeball before he founded globo gym ), i mean the faires were like oscar meiner weiners, im serious. fairies are supposed to be known for their great beuty, not their insanely tiny stupid bodies, at least the ones in mm and oot looked like humans.

Also, im wondering about the great fairies, will they be in this one, what will they look like, will they be just as scary and ugly as the ones in oot and mm? thousends of questions, and no answers.

great fairys, and little healing ones, maybe, but a talking, helpful fairy-pal i really don't think will be included.

I hope the traditional (orbs of light with wings) come back. The tiny fairies in WW just looked like something an 8 year old would draw. Mind you I loved the way they had that little trapped expression in the bottles!

I really liked the great faries from OoT and Majora (they all had different hair colours in the latter which was cool), and the way they laughed was really funny. The ones in WW looked like bad drawings of Hindu godesses, and their laugh was so stupid and fake.

Fairies have been in almost in all Zelda games, wether they heal you or help you out like Navi and Talt did. I would want a new fairy partener for Link so he can have a new friend. ^^ But in the most fun Zelda games (OoT and MM) they have a fairy follow you around and yap at you to explain important stuff and how to do things and Ezlo does that too, but he has nothing to do with this... ^^'

If there's no fairy helper like Navi and Talt, then what's the point of it? How would you know how to do things or know where to go if you forget? And it wouldn't matter to me what the fairy looks like as long as it doesn't look to ugly...

The Great Fairies.. um. I hope they're pretty like the ones in MC.

Well I hope that in Zelda TP link get his own little fairy partner again, will it happen, I don't know. There has really been no evidace relesed that gives us any indication that a fairy will even be in Zelda TP. Although I hope that Link get a little companion again I do not know if it will happen.

I actually loved Navi's voice. It is so cute!

Plus I liked the beginning bit when you see her fluttering though Kokiri Forest and banging her head. It just made me smile so much and I feel all nostalgic now.

are the orbs really traditional?
i don't recall seing them before Oot.

Fairies were winged little girls before OoT, they just couldn't render something that small and have it look unlike a sculpture made by a slow 6 year-old, so it was a "mysterious" glowing orb. Let's not get in to the Great Fairies, they were scary.

I think there should be fairies in TP that refill your magic bar when you run out of magic, but don't heal you. But if we just have the same old "GAH! I am dead. But I do not fear, a small winged woman suffocating in a bottle will rescue me from destruction." fairies, then they should look like 10-15 year old girls (or guys...) and be blue/teal/pink!

i don't think there will be a fairy (unless midna turns into one outside of the TR) but she might tell you the names of bosses...i hope.

That's not the traditional look, I believe that the most traditional was the the human shaped fairy. I tihnk those orbs of light appeared only in OoT which was the fifth Zelda game in the series.

As for being in it, I doubt it, it would be nice to know a bosses anme easily though. I didn't like the whole take a photo to find out thing. But I think eventually Player's Guides reveal their names anyway.

We don't exactly need a fairy anymore, I tihnk Midna looks good as a companion this far. Fairies for healing is the only thing I think would be to the acception point, unless they wish to risk the originality.

I think the Minish Cap had some of the best looking Great Fairies. Indeed the ones from Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask & Wind Waker were a bit on the disturbing side. But I'm certain we'll see the healing varieties & I'm certain there will be the ones that grant you cool powers & stuff.

I think there will be faries in TP its the tradtional Zelda make up. Plus it would cool to still have faries in Zelda.

I would almost assume healing fairy's to be in the game along with the great fairies, and perhaps maybe the fairy queen will come back again.

I doubt that we'll see a fairy sidekick only because

A) tWW proves that you dont need one
B) all the hints in the TP demo were provided via pressing Z

I would love to see faries return! As annoying as they got sometimes, I loved having faries like Navi around (but not the design they used for the dungeon faries in MM, those were hideous). Anyway, remember the first Zelda trailer? When they show Link pushing the block there was a discussion as to what that ball of light behind him was. Nevertheless, we haven't seen a fairy in any of the later shots... maybe he gets one later in the game, or it travels with him in a different way.

I seriously hope that was just for the demo. The placement of the Hint icon seems really out there, and maybe they just added it so people wouldn't get stuck on the demo. I mean, who would Link be getting a hint from? Midna?

There will be fairies in Twilight Princess, though you will not have one as your partner. Link doesn't seem to have a partner that gives him hints, he just gets the option of getting hints from the Z-button or something like that. The Gale Boomerang shone in the trailers and demos has the Fairy of Winds trapped inside it, so I'd expect the fairies to be trapped in weapons for this game.

I'm also hoping the hint command was just for E3, but if not, who cares? Not a big deal.

I liked the Great Fairies in tWW much better than the ones in OoT and MM. The ones in OoT and MM looked like prostitutes. Not the attractive prostitutes (i.e. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman) but the really ugly ones that no one would actually want to have sex with. Ha ha.

P.S. Just to let you know, I'm not a prostitue aficionado. Ha ha.
