What do you want next?

Well, now we have a torrent of new infomation about TP, what do you want next? Are there any characters, items, levels, sub-quests or revelations you want to read? What would enrich your experience of TP?

For me, it would be the game being the direct sequel of MM and exploring the relationship with Link and the girl he eventually gets together with, as well as brief puppy love NPCs, and a return of all the OoT charas. That is probably not going to happen (slim to none) but that is what would truly make me happy. If not, a cast of new charas to fall in love with all over again, and mabye stop the events in WW happening.

So what do you want for this game?

I want CONNECTIONS. I want to see this game tie in with the others in certain ways. Little things that make you think 'o thats cool how they made that little connection'. Stuff like that.

Yeah that would be nice, will it happen most likely not. From what I hear TP is supposed to happen decades after TWW and it is a totally differat link. Not only that, but TP is not supposed to have any ties with any of the past games. That sucks.

You mean like mabye someone saying "Have you heard of Din? She lives in Holodrum and is a powerful dancer." Meaning this Link was the Oracles Link.

Yes I would like a few things like that. The Zelda timeline needs to be solidified somewhat, like it was with OoT/WW.

That would be nice and it would certainly give all of us closeure for OOT and MM I have not heard and thing that would support any tie in's with OOT or MM or TWW for that matter.

Well, the one thing I would want cleared up is when the game takes place. After that is done, I would perfer than anoums and miyamoto reveal nothing else besides a release date..

why?

why is such a dedicated fan like me on the side on not wanting any new info?
simply because the more information that is released, the more of a sense I will get of what the game is.
see, durin the development of tWW I got the idea that there would be large land masses and even larger oceans, I got the impression that the game would be very long based on the different worlds we see inthe screenshots. the EGM artcle about tWW even showed a scene of link in lower Hyrule, the practically almost spoiled the whole game. seeing link on that large land area, only to be slightly dissapointed when I found out that even in lower Hyrule, link was still limited in terms of foot travel.

right now, post E3, I'm already starting to have my of sense of what TP will be like, and personally, I dont want that at all. I do not want any preconcieced, personal notions of what this game will be like, none at all. I want to learn about the game as I play through it, I dont want to see a screenshot in EGM, and then wait to see that area once I'm actually playing the game, it sort of ruins the game for me.

but alas, I know that nintendo will release more info on TP, and when that time rolls around, I will have to leave ZU, and isolate myself from zelda until the game is in myhands.

i'm hoping, basically, that there are more original ideas for the combat, geography, story, and travel. then i'll be a happy little camper.

I'm hoping for a finer combat system (perhaps similar to "Prince of Persia"'s, sans gore and annoying finishing move), a more intricate, interactive world, and a finer storyline. No offense, Nintendo, but "get the magic sword to save the captive princess" is becoming a little old.
It would also be nice for TP to have more about the Sheikahs. Perhaps they're not all dead; you never know...

Nope.

Besides the timeline, I'm hoping they release more info. on Wolf-Link and the twilight...not too much information to spoil the game but just a little because all we know is Twilight realm turns Link into a wolf and anyone else into animal-creatures..Midna and Zelda are in the Twilight realm and that's really it...maybe just a tad more info. on it would be nice

Besides that I don't really want much else..Like Vacumgod I really don't want to spoil the experience for myself...but it's ssooo hard to avoid spoilers...Maybe I should find a way to get myself grounded from the internet when the release date nears..or maybe I could for once find a job. lol.

You got to remember there is one coming out on the DS and of course the Rev

I think Dark Link needs to come back in TP, he was one of my fav sub bosses in OoT, plus he fits into the games theme, also skullkid or majora

Yeah, we need Redeads in this game, and much more frequently than in OoT. WW had a good amount of them. Something similar to that. And I also hope that it ties in with other games. And [I don't know -why- I hope this...] I hope Tingle is in it. There, I said it! I'd miss the small, confused 35 year old wannabe-fairy! Sheesh, even though I hate him, I would miss him. And I hope there is some sort of compatablilty for two player, like in WW. That way 2 out of 3 of the kids at my house could play. Wait, no, the third could be reading the player's guide. That would be really cool.

I would also like to see some connection from other zelda games just like the way MM had the "ballard of the windfish" that really made me smile when i first saw that.
