The tranformation

I was thinking, what if this game actually shows tha transformation of Kokori and Zoras to Koroks and Rito

Yeah! a possibility, link does grow up in the game, so maybe other races will change. oooh and imagine charecters growing up! There could be a really fat baby that grows up to a.....errr fat boy?

i don't know i mean it would be cool to see that happen but i don't think Shigero would show that. it to me would show to mush dept of the game

I don't know if that is possible. I mean it takes a LONG time for things to transform. I don't see it happening in this game. Nice thoery though

I personally do not think that ritos evolved from zoras. WW takes place 100 years after OOT and (if evolution was true) it would take millions of years to evolve.

Laruto is a descendant of Medli though, which suggests that they did.

Anyway, I think there's no way that would happen, it would take longer than a few years to show the transformation of those two species.

The Zora evolution would be fasinating to watch. I think it would look the charas in Baten Kaitos sprouting wings before a boss fight, the Zoras would float in the air, feathers would start flowing off their bodies, their sharp noses would become beaks, and their fins would metamorphasise into wings.

I think Laruto would instruct the Zora in this transphormation, while she alone retains her true shape. She would have a daughter, who should look like Medli.

I personally think this will be set after WW, or be a direct sequal to OoT. Nintendo do like changing their minds. I don't think such a big battle would be set so soon after OoT. The gap between each Zelda is usually a few centuries.

I think it could work, but only because I don't believe that they "evolved" as much as they were transformed. After all, if the Zora couldn't stand salt water it would've been quicker for them to evolve to tolerate it, and the reason the Kokiri transformed was never really explained in tWW. I personally believe the Zoras were transformed to keep them from visiting Hyrule.

If the game is going to be set in between OoT and tWW then I'd also like to see the sages being killed- maybe Laruto dies after the Zora transform?

I see Laruto leading the transformation, but it had decreed by the Godesses she will never join her people, and the same with Fado. They both return to their temples, and Ganodorf kills both of them to weaken the Master Sword. Both feel a great responsibility in their roles, as I personally see them being the descendants of Ruto and Saria. These two are probably ledgendary heroines in this period, and Laruto and Fado probably feel a great duty as being of the same bloodlines.

Just to let you know you have it mixed up, the Kokiri change into the Koroks, and the Zora turn into Rito. But that could be cool to see.

Actually, The Zoras CAN survive in salt water. Majora's mask? Great bay?

Those weren't the same Zoras.

But people aren't sure whether it happens before or after TWW...

I don't think they should show the transformation what so ever!
They'd do it all wrong and it'd end up being horrible and freaky.

It would be cool watching them evolve, it would be weird watching the kokiri turn even smaller, into koroks!

It would be pretty easy to explain Kokiri turning into Koroks. After all, the Deku Tree would probably have to trouble at all turning children into... stumps. O_o

Any explanation at all to why children are better suited to be slightly mobile pieces of lumber after OoT?

i can see it now: a kokiri screaming and all of a sudden, he grows little stubby paws and legs and he start to grow smaller and smaller, untill the transformation is complete. then, the korok looks at its reflection in the water and says: GOOD GOD!!!!! I HAVE A LEAF FOR A FACE!!!!!!!!! seeing a zora's fins get turned into wings, scales get turned into feathers, and it grows a beak, would be cool to.

First of all, when the forests flooded, the Kokiri had to take to the skies. But instead of turning them into Rito, the Great Deku Tree turned them into Koroks, something much closer to him.
Yeah, the transformation would be cool...and weird.

Oh come on people, thats just sick! Seeing the Zora grow feathers and wings and still be able to swim at the same time? How could they fly later, go in the sun and lose the water from the scale parts of bodies and die of dehydration? Think about it, little kids, growing leaves and twigs/branches all over their bodies, I'm just saying that's very, very, very disgusting, to me that is.
