Garo : Dual swords / ninja moves
Shiek :Chain/fists+needles/ninja moves
Iron Knuckle : 2-handed axe
Darknut : 2-handed sword (maybe w/ buckler)
Moblin : Spear
Vatti : Magic(Lightning/wind)
Aaghnim : Magic (Cloning/Orbs)
Wizzrobe : Staff/Magic(Fire/Ice)

Add characters if you want

Try putting some colons or dashes between the characters and items to make it easier to read. But as far as the ideas go, most of 'em sound pretty cool.

That's a nice list that you made, and I would definently buy it if they made it. But Nintendo will never make it becuase it would probably be a horrible use of the franchise. I don't want Zelda to become like Mario if you know what I mean (spin-off games). But still, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't buy it!

Let me reiterate that your list is already very good. It would probably be a very good game, especially if they let Namco (makers of Soul Calibur) develop it. Heck, they are all ready handing out all of their franchises to Namco anyway. In the end though, I would always prefer a normal Zelda game to this simply becaue Adventure>Fighter.

I Would buy this game just to see Shiek (Oot) vs. Garo (MM) just to see them both stabbing at each other crazy fast and telepoting all over becuse both of them have elite ninja skills

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if there were Zelda spinoffs, as long as they were set in Hyrule or some place with a similar atmosphere. No Zelda Tennis, though.

As for the fighter, sure, I'd buy it if it looked any good. I'd be a Garo because Garos cut off heads all the time and don't even think twice about it.

I would definetly not buy a game like this, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like this coming as a bonus in a "real" Zelda game. Like an unlockable that you get after beating the game once or twice. That would be fun and good.

I remember an old article at IGN.com called "Dream Games: Legend of Zelda Fighter", where they had a four page article talking about the "what ifs" of a possible Zelda fighting game. Can it happen? Sure, its a video game, anything can happen. Will it happen? I have my highest doubts. When it comes to fighting games, I think Nintendo will just stick with the SSBM and SC2.

That would be cool if a game like that came out, but it would not come from Nintendo because that would just ruin what Zelda is all about.

I don't think it's a good idea. Too many good series have been watered down into mediocrity with poor spinoffs.

Thanks for the link. That was almost exactly what i was thinking. Ithink if they did soul calibur II the crazy sales figures for a fighting game with Link they might do it for revoulition. They could use MK : Deception's engine to make it easier and faster. i say 10% chance of it happening. If I was Iwata i would do it.

A Zelda fighter??? Err, no. I just can't picture it. It would make a really poor game. Captain Viscen? Gomess? Stalfos? Dinolfos? Nah, I wouldn't like to be one of the monsters or secondary characters. Let's just stick to SSBM and SC2 for fighting. I mean, this is just my opinion.

I had a little too much spare time. It was better but if i wanted to attach it it had to be 195.3 KB or less.

They all sound cool, but I think the Iron knucle should just have a big powerful sword like in OoT, not a 2-handed axe.
