Ooo! Graphic Revamp...

I just recieved a copy of my favorite gaming magazine today, and I found out some interesting info.

1. The preordering of Zelda GC starts April

2. If $10 is put down for the preorder, you will get a free extra disk with:
a. Wind Waker redone totally in the new style! (don't know if it's the full version) A picture comparing the two styles from WW shows some pretty amazing detail.
b. Two (full) unreleased WW dungeons the made the original game "too long".

This info could lead to a breakthrough and possibly some proof for the GC Zelda to being a sequel of WW.

P.S.- If this should be in a different place or if this is a repeat, please say so!

This is fake. EGM put it in their magazine as a joke, and the rumour spread everywhere. Nintendo has not confirmed anything on this, and they would have by now.

April? I bet it starts April 1st too. I'll be at stores. That's the same day the new Sam and Max game is coming out.

That would be cool, to bad it's a joke. and I actually already have a preorder from GameStop.

Even as a joke, who thought that the game was too long and needed changed dungeons? I think the game could have been longer. Nintendo woulden't go through all the work of remaking WW to promote Zelda05.

Yes, it would take them quite a while to redesign the game from the ground-up. I'd estimate at least a year. Also, it'd be a bad move on Nintendo's part: The Wind Waker is entirely unsuited to such a dark atmoshpere.

This was in EGM eh, I haven't recieved my latest issue of EGM yet, maybe I should check my mail....anyways, this is probably just EGM's April Fool's joke, they do one pretty much every year, they will probably say that it is was a joke in the next issue.

Were they the people behind the Sonic rumor? curse them! I wonder what next years heart wrenching rumor will be?

It sounds kinda interesting but it would probably end up ruining the nature of Wind Waker.

Hah, you guys were right, Sea. That's where I got my information, forgot it was the April issue.

I am still banking on a realese after e3, hopfully it will be in like june or july. All of us will just have to wait, the guy at nintendo are really keeping it hush hush.

The Wind Waker is way too recent to be having a remake, attached on for free. They still make money from it. Also, it's obviusly a joke. It would be impossible for them to completley revamp the game that fast. It would pull back the release by a large bit. Also, Wind Waker is not suited to the style at all, and it would mess up what the whole idea behind WW's style was.

Would any of you superly kind peeps happen to know where I could gain access to a scan of this INCREDIBLE announcement? im leik so ecxiteded roflol.

I thought I saw a scan in a thread not to long ago. It looks badly photoshopped, and Link looks to real for the area. He's also seen as an Adult, which makes no sense, seeing how Link was a child.

I would think this would completely give it away.

It's an April Fool's joke, obviously. There is no question about it. Redeveloping a game from the ground up would take an extremely long time, and would be a bad move for Nintendo, like Sear said. Most people would not enjoy this game if it were real.

And for free? Come on.
