LozGc taking place in hyrule

lozgc has gotta take place in hyrule! you know the screen shot in the trailor with the bridge? thats the bridge in oot to kakoriko village with the river leading to zoras river, and the rocks in the field?the same spot were you catch a big poe in oot by the grey rock just more of em.that landscape looks so much like hyrule field its scary! these are just my guesses but i mean come on you gotta admit, that landscape looks an awful lot like hyrule.even the castle in the trailor looks like hyrule castle from oot.

You made another thread on this?You just don't learn,do you?Tis' possible I suppose, but then Nintendo would have to come up with a decent explanation on how the sea got drained...

I told him he could make the thread again as long as he didn't flame anyone or insult people's opinions like the other threads. Hopefully though he is editing this one like I asked to make it a bit better . I'm giving him another chance - so if this thread turns sour it goes to the trash.

and i'm pretty sure this game's gonna be like oot, you know pull the master sword defeat ganon that stuff.this looks like, and i hope, a sequel to mm after oot, link grown up by natural aging and kicking ganons butt again. before tww though.

It's been confirmed that this game will take place after WW.So probably not.

It's not a sequel to OoT or MM, sorry. It's set after The Wind Waker. And it looking similar in a trailer doesn't say much. It could be a simple beta field for all you know. Though, the field seems a lot larger than it did in OoT.

I was thinking about if it was Hyrule, or a new Hyrule earlier and still havent made up my mind. Tetra and Link had a little understanding on how the Triforce works, but I dont think they know enough about it to view it as the object their ancestors did. The only two people that could teach them about Hyrules former history, traditions, values, language, etc. would be Jabun and Valoo and then have it passed back down that way. Then again, it could be a whole new land all together. I dunno.

I cant wait to see how this game pans out.

Yeah the world should be a whole lot bigger than Oot and MM put together, hopfully. I gotta say that the castle and the the feild look an aweful lot like hyrule castle and feild. There is really to much speculation on all that is going on. All of us will just have to wait unlit e3 hit and then much more should be revealed as there are supposed to have a playable version there.

This game is going to take place in hyrule...it probably won't be Hero of Time Link, but you would have to be pretty stubborn to think that it won't take place in hyrule. Look at the trailer/pics...what other land could it take place in that looks that much like hyrule?

I wonder how long it takes place after WW...does anyone know?

I hope that the field is MUCH larger, it'll be fun. And I do think it is Hyrule, although no one knows how. Also, in the trailer, when it is showing Hyrule Field and the river, I can see a distant object in the background. Did anyone else notice? I think it might be Hyrule Castle, because that seems to be what Link is riding out of towards the battle.

I hope it is in Hyrule, that's my favorite place. The field is huge and it looks really cool. The great sea has to have drained somehow, and it would be cool to see all of the old landmarks remade.

I totally agree with you its gotta take place in hyrule, after oot, come on he has links oot ear rings, the land scapes do look a bit too familiar, the horse looks just like epona, his shield is the hylian sheild, he doesent have the master sword because in the end of oot he had to return it to its pedestall in order to return to his original time , no fairy(at least we havent seen one, and it has way too many things in comman with the oot to take place any where else other that hyrule.

does anybody know if any of the old races will be included in Lozgc?

No,we don't.In fact,we know little-to-nothing about the game.What we know is:
-Horseback fighting will be a,at least somewhat important,piece of gameplay.
-This game will take place after the WW.Nobody knows exactly how long.

-A playable version will be showcased this year's E3,so hopefully,we'll get some more details there.

-This game will take place on land,rather than sea,like the WW.Exactly what land,however,is still unknown.

-I believe in a french interview with Aonuma, he stated that the game is finished.You can go and read it up on IGN.

-The game will be launched this year in the USA.

-The game runs on the WW engine.

And I can't think of anything else,aside from what would be dully obvious.

Its Hyrule. And who knows? This can take place before the WW. Ya kno? Like in starwars, all the movies were made out of order. LoZGC doesn't HAVE to be after WW. People are just calling it the sequel because it's the next game made.

Everything IS all to farmiliar though. I say WW is probably the last game in the series (Meaning, after every zelda game made it will be the last one). Because of what happens, to hyrule and all.

But, thats just what I think.

To ZeldaGeneration you listen, it IS after WW.

Btw, I believe that this is Hyrule - Although not the Hyrule that we saw in OoT/WW. Maybe it is ALttP or maybe even LoZ Hyrule Think about it :cool:

this new LoZgc is the sequel to WW and that is ALREDY CONFIRMED!
And if you all have played WW you can see that it Looks much more like the WW
hyrle castle than the OoT castle. and if you remember the little koroks from WW
they all spreed out seed over the land of WW and it growde up more and more woods and lands and eventuly it draind the great sea.

Oh.My mistake.Sorry about that,hehe.Anyway, we have no way of knowing which Hyrule the game takes place in.We'll just have to wait and see.
