Will this be the same Link from OoT and MM?

I was thinking maybe this Zelda will be the same Link from OoT and MM except its years later and he grew up into adult Link again. That would help explain Epona being in the game as well. Becuase didn't Link return to his childhood after OoT to live out his life then proceded in MM? Maybe this will be when he grows up the second time and Ganon is trying to come back out of the sacred realm for some reason. That's just my idea

I disagree with you, I think this is a "spiritual" sequel to OoT - in order words; an original Zelda game with somewhat original story but that just happens to look like OoT quite a lot.

Agree with Senap, This "New" Link is obviously inspirated in his "brother-version" of OoT ... tha's not mean it's the same ... I really hope so ... until Nintendo saids the opposite, we can't assume it's the same

I think that it is definently possible that this is the Hero of Time. To me, the horse looks too much like Epona to be a coincidence. The field certainly looks very similar to how it does in OoT. Making this a sequel to Majora's Mask would allow Nintendo to sneak in the Ocarina again. I would prefer this game be about the Hero of Time over a sequel to WW, but I would like even more for it to be neither. I would like an original story that takes place in Hyrule.

I'm actually kind of hoping it could possibly be the same Link from OoT. I...just can't see the game being a sequel to WW, as some people seem to believe. In fact, I feel it a little too impossible. x.x; From all the pictures and clips and whatnot I've seen of the new game, Link's wearing that chainmail under his tunic, which kinda signifies that the game must take place during an earlier time in the history of Hyrule.. I'm supposing OoT took place during the early years of Hyrule.. And, if it matters, Link's hat looks kind of...worn out, like the end of it has been torn off and sewn back on or something. O_o So...perhaps it's OoT Link, and perhaps he never thought about wearing a different tunic. xD At least, that's what my heart is telling me..

And as for the horse, it does look alot like Epona.. ^_^ Soooo..in the end, I'm just really hoping the game will be connected to OoT in some way.. >.>

so if it is the sequal to OoT, then well what about WW, see the reason you look for the triforce shards is because after OoT MM happens in which he leaves the land and his triforce was broken into 8 pieces. and while Link is away the barrier of the sacred realm is destroyed in which Ganon tries again to get hyrule but the gods flood the land to save it. so well if it is a sequal to OoT or MM he would have to fail in killing Ganon(dorf) and wouldnt have the triforce, unless you get the triforce back and then is broken again. lol so well if he did beat ganondorf again. if it is , then the legend at the beginging of WW would be wrong, because the hero of time didnt apear and the one from OoT and MM are the same link so they both would be the hero of time.
