Children

I was thinking again about the NPCs of the new Zelda game. Well has there ever been Babies or toddlers in the zelda universe? It may seem stupid but I'd like to see babies and small children in this new one. Who else agrees?

Re: Children

there have been children does that count. because in OoT link starts off as a kid and well ends as a kid lol there was that bomber gang thing or what ever there name was in MM they were little kids

in one of the game boy games i belive there is a baby and they cant think of a name to give it. so yes if im not mistaken there has been a baby in a zelda game just cant think of name

Re: Children

What about the children on Outset Island, the one with the runny nose and such. In the GBC games we see frustrated parents who can't think of a name for their baby. And there are toddlers in Majora's Mask, and in LA (Ball throwing). So yes, there's plenty of children in the game. Link's not the only Child in the Zelda Universe.

Re: Children

There were a whole lot of children in TWW on most of the islands like outset for example and the Bombers gang in MM just to name a few.

Re: Children

There have never been babies or toddlers in a 3D Zelda game, no.

I can't say I miss them... babies and their walking counterparts annoy me.

Re: Children

Yeah there are kids in the Zelda games I don't think there's a real focus on them as there's not much need really so... I don't mind whether there are kids on it or not.

Re: Children

The only baby I can think of in a Zelda game is the one in LA, the one you give the Yoshi Doll. As for children, there have been plenty. The Bommbers gang, the Killer Bees, the cucko chasing girl in OoT, etc.

How can you even joke about something like that? ...A baby?

Begone. You make me sick.

Hmm. Aside from the baby that you had to buy the Yoshi doll for in LA, there was also Bippin and Blossom's baby from the two Oracle games. You know, the one that they asked you to name for them and made you pay the doctor bill for, the one that you watch grow from a crying baby to a hyper toddler in a ridiculously short amount of game time? Yeah, that's the one. I named him Aidan.

I can't recall any actual babies in any of the 3-D Zelda games that I've played, though. Not that it really matters. I don't think including babies or toddlers would really effect the game at all. If anything, it would probably help to spare what little patience I have. Three-dimensional whining babies would most likely just irritate me.

There was also those gossiping little girls on Windfall where you can enter the "cove" where you first met KoRL.

Re: Children

Oh jeez, the goron baby. That thing gave me a headache when it wouldn't stop crying. But after it went to sleep it was pretty cute.

But does a goron baby count? If other species do then in MM they have the zora babies that just hatched from their eggs. They teach you the New Wave Bossa Nova (I think that's what it's called).

Re: Children

Ah yes, the Zora babies... well, I don't think they really count because they didn't seem to have souls, know what I mean, kinda like tadpoles. They're kinda void of intelligence and life.
