More than one country at a time

O.k, so far, Link has only saved 1 country at a time. Several times it has been Hyrule, but also Holodrum, Labrynia, Koholint, Termina. Now I'm not referring this to Zelda '05, for I think it only takes place in one country, probably Hyrule. But would you like to see a Zelda game where Link has to save a couple countries at once? It would open up places he could travel a ton, and maybe let us see how others react when a neighboring country is under attack. If one of the places was Hyrule, we could learn a lot about what is around this large area.

Re: More than one country at a time

Well, technically most of them were saving the *world* (at least the ones with Ganon), but I would like to see Link travel between different countries in at least a couple of games (preferrably in 3D). It would sort of tie the series together, methinks.

Re: More than one country at a time

I'd like to see Calatia be involved somehow.
For those of you who don't know, there were comics based on the first two Zeldas. Calatia was the country that Link came from.

Re: More than one country at a time

hmm majoras mask kinda saved the world but terminia as far as we know was all that world has to offer, despite the fact that if we followed the coast south or north....anyway they are needing to put maybe more villages in but for now I thinks they would be giving me more caves and tunnels and jumping things

Re: More than one country at a time

It would be awesome to see multiple worlds in a Zelda game, but I would be just as happy with a huge overworld which it looks like we are going to get in Zelda 05/06...I am going to refer to it as that for now on because who knows...this game can come out Q1 2006 for all we know...I wouldn't be surprised.

Re: More than one country at a time

hmm...I dont know about saving more than one world at once..but including more worlds at a time would be great. Instead of saving 3 different worlds...each world would just kida relate to the same thing...therefore i guess just expanding it could really make an interesting impact.

Awesome concept. I think the horse would decrease travel time. I also hope that the next Zelda includes warping to decrease the travel time more.

Re: More than one country at a time

What if there would be two countries at war, with the goal being to stop it.
They could make a pretty cool story out of that concept.

It wouldn't have to be. They could come out with portals or songs that let you zoom over to other country quickly. And I wouldn't want to save them all seperatly, I just mean that they would all be threatedned by a common danger.

Re: More than one country at a time

It would have been great if they had both Termina and Hyrule together in the game and expanded the worlds.
There could be a long road between the two worlds, and a new town or two somewhere on the road.

Re: More than one country at a time

I like the idea of a war that you have to stop. Like Ganondorf is munipulating the King and telling him that this other King is planning on conquering Hyrule. Then one of his cohorts is doing something similar to that other King and then war begins to break out and you have to come and expose Ganondorf and stop the war.

Re: More than one country at a time

More than one country? Hmmm I don't know. How about more than one Kingdom (like a Kingdom for almost every race)? The Zoras had a Kingdom, the Gorons...sorta did, the Ritos didn't (but who wouldn't like to see a Kingdom in the sky), in MM the Dekus did, etc... If the game is going to be all about war, I say make some allies to fight Ganondorf's army.

Re: More than one country at a time

Just a little question.
I'm pretty new in this place and I just wondered what "Din's Clan" or "Farore's Clan" is,
I've seen it many times in this forum.

Yeah I think that expanding the world in the new zelda game would really open up the game play and possible make the game last longer and more fun
