I have seen ideas on this board about ideas for a four sword Zelda, and have grown to like the idea of what 4 swords on it could mean, and would like a thread of my own to express my ideas.
So, here goes.
Start- Pause. lets others know you are paused via a small icon on the top corner of the top screen.
Select- uses potion. each person can hold 1 potion, various types. includes auto heal if you die, increase attack, increase speed. are bought from old women merchants that travel the maps.
A- Item
B- Sword
Y- Item
X- Action (Lift, Pull. Talk)
L- Shows comrades locations and actions
R- Roll/dodge. use this in combination with B for sword combos. could involv BRB, hold R, B, BBhold R etc.
My concept is this. on the DS, the top screen contains your characters location and what is happening for them. the bottom screen contains 4 items, as well as rupee and key counts. the point of having only 4 items is that u need to share them among you. each person by the end has 4 different items each. they can be used together for different effects. eg. using the deku leaf on someone that is using the roc's cape would amke them go further. You assign iems to places by pressing the right icon on the sreen, then the item you want there, or vice-versa. you can also swap items with others by the same method. there are map and status icons in the bottom corners. While L is held, three arrows will surrond your character on the top screen, showing you your partner's locations, and on the bottom, will show their health and what they are currently doing.

ZU, the DS pic from ign.com, and the screenshot of
FS from some site, cant remember, its an old one.
