What do you think Zelda05 is about?

I think Zelda 2005 is about link finding the parts of the trifrce becouse in the ending of WW, Didn't the triforce scatter in hyrule?
Probibly Vivity got the triforce of power somehow and free ganondorf. So the did evil stuff.

What are your ideas?

Well we don't know if the game is after or before TWW so we can't be really sure of what it is about. Many people are starting to think that the "Hoarse" will play a huge part in the game, how we do not know. Some people beleave that the hoarse will be equipped with a new item that can make it transform into different things. I would like it to have a new creative bad guy. I guess I think Zelda '05 will take place somewhere between OOT and TWW perhaps it will explain what happen to the hero when Hyrule was once again under the attack of GANON. However this is just what could be, nothing is for sure at this point.

i dont think this is going to be a triforce quest but you never know, i thinbk that itll be between OOT and WW too, it seems like a good spot to be, but it could also be way after WW and it would be the new hyrule that the king left to link and zelda/tetra

I am guessing that this will be the Imprisoning War.

The sreen of the moblins-or whatever they are- is Gannons army and Link will have to defeat them and Gannon and save Hyrule

I would like it to be between the end of the OoT/MM Saga, and TWW. I say this not because I want the Hero of Time back, but because I think that the story would be better if you lost at the end. This doesn't have to be a depressing loss, it could be like when you rescued the Deku Tree in OoT. You only found out it was hopeless after you were finished, and this could be applied to the new Zelda as well. It would be interesting to actually defeat Ganon in this new game, but then have a situation where the godesses drown Hyrule anyway, just because they know he will continue to come back. (Kinda foreshadowing the rest of the Zelda Series, if OoT is the first chronologically) Or maybe it will be an entirely new Link, taking place after Wind Waker, which would also be great.

I could have sworn I saw something on a (reliable) fan site that said that it was after OoT.

that was just a theory then, they were probably just talking about what they think or want it to be. i wouldnt believe anything unless it comes straight from nintendo's sight or has confirmation from it at least

i believe thats This zelda game will be more about fight ganon and his hoard of monsters, and less of collecting triforce pieces and what not.

I don't want it to be a part of the Ocarina/Majora/Wind timeline. I'm tired of things revolving around the hero of time. If it is part of the hero of time timeline, I won't complain but it would be much better away from all that. I don't see how you can tell what this game is about. All we have is a bunch of screens and one movie that isn't very long. We can't say much about this game and be sure until late february-ish.

2250 Hyrulian Chronology

Ganondorf Dragmire is born as the only male in the tribe of the Gerudos, and thus becomes the leader of the powerful tribe.

2270 Hyrulian Chronology

Link I and Zelda I are born in Hyrule.

2280 Hyrulian Chronology

Link I is called by the Deku Tree to undertake a great quest. Link travels from the Kokiri Forest to Hyrule, where he meets Princess Zelda I. She asks him to retrieve 3 magical stones, which will open the gateway to the Secret Realm. Meanwhile, Ganondorf Dragmire plots to enter the Sacred Realm to take the Triforce for himself. He attempts to kidnap Zelda, but her nursemaid Impa hides her away. Link collects the 3 stones and places them in the Temple. The doors open, and link Enters it. Ganondorf follows, and touches the Triforce before Link can.
Since Ganondorf is an evil man, the triforce splits in 3 pieces. Ganondorf receives the triforce of Power. Link receives the Triforce of Courage, and Zelda receives the Triforce of Wisdom.
Ganondorf gets out of the Sacred Realm, and takes over Hyrule with his new powers.Link is put into a forced sleep, for he is still too young to become the Hero of Time.

2287 Hyrulian Chronology (With Ganondorf as Ruler)

Link I is awakened, older and stronger, yet with the mind of a child. He finds a different Hyrule, bleak and desolate, due to Ganondorf's evil wishes. With the help of Zelda I, he finds six medallions of the six sages. Link, Zelda and the Sages use their power to overthrow Ganondorf. They manage to seal him in the Sacred Realm, using the Mastersword as seal, and it is returned to the pedestal of time.

2280 Hyrulian Chronology

After the Imprisoning War was over, Link was sendt back to the year he was frozen in time (2280 Hyrulian Chronology). A few months later, Link was summoned to the land of Termina (Believed to be some sort of parallell world of Hyrule), where he had to awaken the four Gods and with their help defeat the Mask of Majora and prevent a the moon from crashing into the land of Termina. When he returns to Hyrule, he grows up and becomes an adult again, this time with the mind of an adult.


2287 Hyrulian Chronology (With the king of Hyrule as ruler)

Hyrule is attacked by a dark army from the West, and Princess Zelda is taken by the dark shadow that leads the army. Link, being the formal Hero of Time, gets his normal Sword and Hylian shield, and together with Epona, who has also grown up, he sets of to defeat evil yet again.

(Note: I think Link from Zelda 2005 is the same as in oot, because he has the same shield, the same horse (i got a picture with over 20 similiarities (sp, lol), to prove that epona from oot and that horse are one and the same), and he doesnt have the mastersword, for that is used as the seal to seal away Ganon), plus his voice is the same as the adult link in OOT)

2290 Hyrulian Chronology

After this quest, Link leaves the country of Hyrule, in search for more adventures, never to return again.

2387 Hyrulian Chronology

Somehow the seal of the Sages is broken, and Ganondorf manages to escape from the Sacred Realm. No tale is told of how the seal was broken, and that remains a mystery .. However, with evil at work again, the people of Hyrule awaited the return of the Hero, the Hero of Time, but the wait was in vain, for the Hero did not return.

2390 Hyrulian Chronology

Without a Hero to save them from Ganondorf, the people turned to the Goddesses in a last act of hope. The Goddesses responded. They poured water over the land .. Endless throngs of rains washed down over Hyrule.. soon there was no more Hyrule, only a great sea known as, yes, the Great Sea.

2800 Hyrulian Chronology

Sealed away with the kingdom of Hyrule he desired so much, was the evil that once had posed such a giant threat to all life upon these lands. With evil out of the picture once more, the inhabitants swiftly adapted to their new lives on the mountain-tops above the sea, and through the centuries they forgot all about the kingdom of the past which was hidden deep below the surface.

2801 Hyrulian Chronology

Somehow Ganondorf manages to create a portal from Hyrule and up to the waves of the Great Sea, and he once again eyes the opportunity to take control over Hyrule, but to do this he needs to reassemble the three pieces of the Triforce.
Whether it was arranged by the gentle hands of destiny, or pure simply a pure a series of coincidents it up to each and every person to figure out what they believe, but somehow a young boy named Link comes in contact with the King of Hyrule, Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, and after going through many hardships to be recognized as a true hero by the Gods, and collecting the shattered pieces of the Triforce of Courage, he together with Princess Zelda faces Ganondorf and together they manage to defeat him.. The boy then took place among legends and became known as the Hero of Winds, because of his ability to control and manipulate the wind.

Lol I think this is what will happen in Zelda05, and how it all fits in the Timeline. And yes, this would make the Link of Zelda05 the Hero of Time.

I know but it was from an interview. I don't remember who it was with but they sounded pretty sure of themselves.
I think it should have another off-land crisis, like in Majora's Mask, but Ganon caused it. When Link returns, he finds out that Ganon took advantage of his absence and had taken over Hyrule; the flood has already started. "But the hero did not appear"

No. This time it'll be about saving the princess's tiny dog, Fifi. Nintendo's going for a little variety this time around.

Seriously, I can not honestly say what I think the new Zelda will be about. Any theory I make will be ruthlessly crushed when the game actually comes out.

Im not sure what this one's going to be about nor do i know where it is going to go in the timeline anymore. Originally i thought it was a sequel to the windwaker but with closer examination of the screenshots it really cant be as we see hyrule castle, plus this link is identical to the hero of time in that he sports the hylian shield, a horse with the exact markings of epona, blue hoop earrings, and a sword that resembles the Kokiri Sword , but bigger. But i dont see how, if the castle in the screens is in fact hyrule, that it could be the hero of time either because in the Windwaker it is stated that the hero of time never returned to hyrule.

Whatever , if it is between MM and TWW then it cant be a quest for the triforce because when the hero of time leaves hyrule to set off for termina the triforce shatters into 8 pieces , still scattered in TWW. I also dont see how , if this were its placement, it could be a fight with ganondorf because he hasnt yet broken free of the sages seal. This could be the reality of the year the hero of time visited as his adult self, but without ganondorf's ruling of it.

I dont know this game really doesnt fit in the Oot/WW timeline but there is enough evidence to say that it does. This game makes my head hurt.

While the Link in the trailer favors the Hero of Time they do not look excactly the same. And the sheild I believe is diffferent too. I Still think this will explain how The Great Sea was drained and a new Hyrule was founded.

Now I know it can't be be a direct sequel to WW because a castle and kingdom couldn't be built in such a short time. Maybe a few hundred years from then.

The shield looks exactly the same to me. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough?

The only thing different about the shield is the red bird, in OOT his body parts were seperated, and in this one they are back together and form one bird. This doesnt mean that this isnt the hero of time though. I mean Link from MM had a TOTALLY different shield than the one he had in OOT, yet we know its the hero of time.

I think it takes place when the hero of time grows old in a natural way.and whoever is the enemy(probably ganondorf) it's up to no good and has a big army following him.So prepare for giant battles and a whoppping enemy.Links biggest and darkest challence ever.
