Majora's Mask WiiU/3ds

Well i was looking through a bunch of E3 stuff and came across this. I know you might be already aware that Nintendo didn't announce it for the WiiU at their conference, however over the next two days there is 3 or 4 secret E3 games being revealed. Also today Nintendo have their 3ds-only conference where this could be revealed for the 3ds. It could be revealed for the WiiU, as i mentioned there is 3 or 4 secret E3 games. But what i was thinking is, the tech demo for the WiiU Zelda at E3 2011 looks quite similar in my opinion to the trailer i shall link below, so could the tech demo we all saw a year ago be linked to what we see in the trailer (below). Was the tech demo no relevance at all to the Zelda we may see later on in the WiiU's lifetime, but to a Majora's Mask remake?

If that isn't a convincing fake (props to whoever made that if it is fake!) I would reconsider my stance on the Wii U (waiting two years until it had a decent catalogue) and would buy it as soon as that was released. Everything about that video was awesome! The graphic design was... dare I say it.. new?! The details looked fantastic. Deku Scrub's redesign was very nice and heck, even the HMS looked good! I especially liked the bit when he had the mask on, I thought they redesigned his scary face, it did make me jump! I genuinely hope this is true, as a lot of people know MM is my favourite Zelda game by far and to be able to experience it in a new graphical style in HD would be beyond what I was expecting! I thought we were just going to be getting a 3DS port!

Just thinking about it but wouldn't it take ages for a single person to make a trailer like that considering the attention to detail and animation?

I don't know. It was leaked online and looks too professional and awesome to be fake. I've read nowhere that it was released by a fan. If you could find that and link it here for me to have a look would be great. However we never know. E3 still has 2 days left.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me mate Lets see if anything Zelda related happens at E3.

You know, after seeing this, it gave me the urge to play Majora's Mask again, and upon playing for a couple hours, I came to realize that I really don't desire this very much at all. Not that I think it'd be a bad thing if this would happen, but I kept thinking about other graphically enhanced remakes and remembering that once you get over the graphical enhancements, you realize it's just the same game and it loses its appeal pretty quickly. If it were to actually become a reality, I think it'd be cool if it was a Master Quest version of the game so at least it'd be a fresh gameplay experience and more than just "Oh boy, I can't wait to see what Stone Tower looks like in HD!"

Again, not that I don't support the idea. In fact, I would love to see these guys get their dreams realized because I think it'd be awesome. I like seeing dreams come true. *sheds tear*
But I'm not exactly begging for it because I know in the long run, it'd just be the same game that I've played through about a half dozen times by now. The only reason why I'm so supportive of Majora's Mask on the 3DS is the fact that it'd be portable. That's what was so appealing about Ocarina of Time 3D; it was being able to take one of my favorite childhood console games with me anywhere I go on a handheld.

Oh, HOW I wish that video was official; it looked so damn good!

As much as it pains me to say this, but I doubt that a Majora's Mask remake will be made for the Wii U. If it is made, it'll probably be for the 3DS. Of course, I'd prefer if it were for the Wii U, what with those graphics shown in that fan animation... I could die happy.

Nintendo won't listen to us Amera♥♥♥♥s. A petition would be useless.

Actually - you'd be surprised.

Nintendo Japan has heard about Operation Moonfall thanks to it's petitions. And they did release a statement that the game could come, but only after a brand-new Zelda game is released on the 3DS first.

How do we know that this isn't a marketing ploy by Nintedo, or a cover up.

The trailer looks perfect, Some fans reckon they knocked up that video in one week, yeah right.

Majora's Mask it pretty overrated, in my opinion, but it is pretty popular considering so I can see them making it for a future re-release.

This doesn't make me want a Majora's Mask remake. It makes me want a Majora's Mask movie!

While the video was fan made and not legit, it was very impressive. It looks great. But as for an actual remake, it probably will not be for WiiU. Any MM remake is almost guaranteed to be for the 3DS. I was pretty disappointed that MM3D (or any new Zelda) wasn't shown at E3, but I'm still very exited for when MM3D does come out.

This fan made trailer makes me want a Majora's mask Movie and a Remake 0_O

Is there a poll for this? I would much rather have a new and imrpoved Majora's Mask over the game with almost the same exact graphics on the handheld 3DS. I'd like to see Fierce Diety Link in 1280p on a giant HD TV, not the little 3DS screen. And Majora's Mask would sell much higher on the Wii U then it would the 3DS. There are alot of people that are really on the border whether they are going to drop the money for a Wii U. Majora's Mask remastered would be a huge system seller.

Well, The 3DS could try to sell more with remakes so fans can play another Zelda game while there is a Original one planned to come out. There should definitely be a MM Remake for 3ds so fans can play the game to wait for a new Zelda title for the 3ds.
