Will the next new 3ds zelda game have a child link?? for Wiiu smash bros?

The Adventure of Link, A Link to the Past/Link's Awakening/Oracles havve two different Links at around age 16 or 17 and they're all handheld, and the one of them is an older version of the one from the first game. The only child Links so far have been the "toon" ones who all share the exact same design.

Oh… And tMC. But I thought more then only three handheld had child Link. Don’t know where I got that from, you’re right.

Recap: There's going to be both a Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros, and devs said they were pursuing ways to have connectivity between the two. Smash Bros has barely entered development, and it will be released probably within 5 years time.

I believe that in addition to of course, ACTUALLY starting on developing the game, Nintendo plans on establishing new franchises with the 3DS and of course revitalize and make older characters more popular, with newer additions/abilities/models to them as the games are released. They'll do the same for the Wii U of course, new characters/franchises, whilst monitoring interest between games and their respective characters to appropriate both rosters.

How it all applies to Smash Bros: The Wii U version of SSB will exclusively include characters that have/will appear on Wii/Wii U's games. Plus, third parties here and there, with some future Big N characters teasing for our preorders.
(SS Link may be included, Groose or Ghirahim, maybe a Xenoblade character due to popularity)

The 3DS version will have characters made popular through 3DS and other that have appeared on portable systems before.
(Ocarina of Time 3D Link [Young and Adult], new Zelda model, new Ganondorf model, a new Pit more like his Uprising character, and 3rd party characters etc)

Connectivity: Linking the 3DS to Wii U version can possibly transfer and make previously-exclusive characters available to both consoles. Maybe this can unlock levels, stages, challenger approaching sequences, trophies, or even characters only obtainable post-linkup.
(Older Smash Bros character models, anyone?). The possibilities are extraordinary.

Result of proper implementation of such connectivity: I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I certainly hope so. For the reason that I rather don't want to see OoT/MM Link in the next Smash Bros again. He had his glory in melee. Give the other Link's in the series a chance.

So yeah, I do really hope that Zelda 3DS features a new Child Link.

nintendo has got to come up with a cool child link, and come up with a good name for it in the next ssb. Maybe if it was for the 3ds, it could be a name relating to the 3d, but its really hard for me to come up with one... :p

hmmm, maybe they could give him the name "3D Link", kinda like how "toon" related to WW's awesome cartoony gameplay.

How about "Girl Link"? Hohohohohohohohohohoho! Nah, that won't happen.

Now that nintendo confirmed a next super smash brothers, it would totally make sence to put skyward sword link as the "Link" character... and a younger link for the "Toon/young link" character, and nintendo confirmed a 2012 zelda game was being created for 3ds....

the next 2012 zelda game for the 3ds should have a child as the link, so it would fit in the next super smash bros as the child link (like melee and brawl!)

They'll probably just use Young Link from OoT3D/MM3D as the child link this time. The older Link will probably be SS or Zelda WiiU Link.

SSB has it's own art style, everything is very detailed and more realistic looking, even if we see SS Link he would probably look more like TP Link with different hair, and I bet on OOT young link model for OOT3D reference, promotion and whatnot

i think that if they do decide to use the Wiiu link and young link, that would still be great

but it would be sweet to have skyward sword link changed a little, than they made him hd.

I read something that showed designers planning on the next Smash Bros. Ghirahim will be in it, and the final smash was going to be something with Demise. I think it's be fun to toy with someone as Ghirahim, so yeah.

Anyways, they're already making a 3DS Zelda game, so it's most likely going to be a young link (thank God).
