Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

Also should the master of Ghirahim,Demise, be explained more in detail?

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

I want to know about Ghirahim. What are his desires? Why does he want to revive his master? How did Demise become his master? How did Ghirahim become a sorcerer? Who are those people with Ghirahim in the intro?

I think he was an excellent villain, but there was alot missing. Do you think that the lack of information alludes to Ghirahim returning?

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

I don't think it would make much sense for Ghirahim to return (at least not as a main antagonist). He was already sealed in Demise's sword, and I wouldn't want his sacrifice to be cheapened and lose its meaning. Though it might make more sense if, say, there were a Zelda game that threw in a bunch of main villains that returned that Link is forced to fight.

Learning more about Ghirahim through dialogue and story would be interesting, but I like how the Zelda titles have been adding new villains instead of throwing in Ganon(dorf) all the time.

SKYWARD SWORD SPOILERS BELOW!

I voted "no" on the poll, because I hope that the next Zelda game goes back to the series roots, story-wise; I hope for a game that goes back to the lore of OoT and AlttP, but that does not necessarily need to take place in Hyrule. However, any game that depicts the war between Hylia and Demise should include Ghirahim.

Ghirahim was a good villan, but I doubt that he will return in any SS sequel, for it seems like he was killed when he became Demise's sword. Also, it would be strange if Link and Zelda ignored Ghirahim, should he somehow have survived.

I think Ganon(dorf) gets kinda old sometimes cause he is the main antagonist of the series. I also think that Ghirahim being a sword should be explained as well as Hylia being Zelda. I think the time paradox should also be used in the next game. I believe the main antagonist should be a female.

Nothing showed death. After you kill demise, his sword fades into the wind. For all we know he could still be alive. I do agree on your thoughts of the Hylia VS Demise but i believe he would be an interesting boss. Even if the next game doesnt have him, a reference would be nice.

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

We'll probably get a strong reference to him in a future game.
Well, maybe.
I like him a lot as a character, but I wouldn't want him to appear more than, say, Vaati.
I'll be kinda surprised if he does appear as a main antagonist again, though.
I don't want Ganondorf to be left in the dust. He's far too cool.

Ganondorf is cool, but I like Ghirahim more...... only because Ganondorf appears in alot of the games and it can get kinda old already knowing everything about your opponent. The explanation of Demise will be in the next game, i think. Zelda being Hylia will be clarified and the Tetraforce theories will either end or uprise. I am indifferent when it comes to the tetraforce.

It would be a nice bit of continuity if the next game features Demise's sword appearing to a new antagonist and through incorrect use corrupts him and turns into the Trident of Power. Even if we didn't see Ghirahim in humanoid form at least we still get to see a bit of him.

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

No. I would like a villain who's as involved in the game as he was (but even more and make them the final boss), and I want them to actually have a motive for what they're doing other than 'they want to take over the world just because.'

I most certainly don't want Ganondorf in the game. I want him to be done with forever. It might just be me, but it seems that one of the main purposes of the ending of Skyward Sword was to open up the possibility for new villains in console games without the games being looked at as strange/odd/lame.

I only read the "Should Ghirahim be in" in the title and assumed this was about Super Smash Bros. 4.

I thought this too. Ghirahim didn't seem like a type of villian who would go out of his way to resurrect someone, even if it was his Master. But then i realized that Ghirahim was Demise' Sword. Demise was literally his master, not his leader.

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

I can definitely see him in a prequel, that's for sure.

But a sequel or future installment that takes place later in the timeline? Nah. ...Since he pretty much died along with Demise.

He never died. He faded into the wind.

No. I don't really like him. He's like the bastard child of Tingle and Ganondorf.

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

Ganondorf is actually a good villain, or at least he was. He had style, cunning, and charisma. That's how he furthered his evil plans: he didn't solely rely on his power, but instead sought a political advantage. He specialized in using deception, manipulation, and extortion.

Re: Should Ghirahim be in the next Zelda game?

I could see that, a prequel to Skyward sword, and too be honest, Ghiriham is a sword to begin with, perhaps he was stolen and corrupted ? since he has similarities with the Master sword mhh ?

I like Ghirahim because he is unlike the others.(Except Vaati who he is quite similar to).
