The Legend of Zelda: Crown of Eternity Timeline: 500 Years after Spirit Tracks
Synopsis:
Unearthed during a dig in New Hyrule, Princess Zelda's team of top-notch scientists found an ancient crown. Thought to have belonged by an old king, it was placed within a museum along with other ancient artifacts.
This crown, unknown to the people of New Hyrule, actually belonged to the Demon King Demise, and it is a cursed object which can revive anything from the dead. Demise made it as a fail-safe incase he ever perished, but he wasn't expecting to be sealed away in the Master Sword.
One night, a large electrical storm (made by a new enemy, the current Demon King, Galven), strikes the Museum, and namely, the Crown of Eternity. This sends a large energy pulse throughout the museum, and activates all of the other artifacts. Unfortunately, many of them belonged to past evils. On the bright side, some artifacts also belonged to past good creatures. Namely, the Master Sword is reawakened.
A new Hero is awakened and must retrieve the Master Sword and defeat these ancient creatures and stop the crown of Eternity, along with Galven, before they can resurrect the original Demon King, Demise.
Background Information Outline:
-New Hyrule has successfully managed to jump into the victorian age with style. They have indoor plumbing, electric lights, and in some areas, even clock-work and steam-work automatons and systems.
-There are Victorian-Age Cities all over New Hyrule, but some places remain timeless. Namely, Goron Hot Springs and Fairy Grove.
-
ST Link and Zelda devised a method to successfully seal any remaining evil under the Earth of New Hyrule, and at the same time keep any new evil out. This method was to add new Spirit Tracks around the land, and have Zelda place a blessing on them.
-The Museum that this all starts in is called the Museum of Ancient and Modern History, and has artifacts from as far back as the Era of Hylia, but as recent as the Battle of New Hyrule, in which
ST Link saved the land from Malladus.
Artifacts (Museum Description):
1.) The King's Crown
The newest addition of the Museum, this Crown is thought to belong to the first King of Old Hyrule. While some say that they can feel an odd energy from this priceless relic, other's say they can see full apparitions when near it.
2.) The Master Sword
This sword is one which one of our founder's used to defeat a great evil near the where the Deku Isles and the Forest of Life stands now. Once thought to be lost to the ocean, it was found in an expedition under water northwest from where the Great Deku Tree stands now. Although stuck in an unbreakable stone, it is still shining like it was new.
3.) A Fossil of an Ancient Lizard
Found deep under water, it was carved from the stone that it rest in and brought back to New Hyrule. After close examination, it was determined to be Pre-Deluge and to have Bomb Flowers inside of it.
4.) Ancient Robotic Pieces
What seems to be just pieces of rubble and junk when first found were actually parts to what seemed to be an ancient robotic creature. While not enough to complete a full Unit, scientists are currently looking into a way to revive this being from eons ago.
5.) Ripped Piece of a Checkered Cloth
Unknown of it's origins, it dates back to before even records were kept. It was found inside of an ancient book, and may be a piece of tapestry or possibly a piece of ripped clothing.
6.) Statue of Captain Linebeck and the Original S.S. Linebeck
A golden statue of the man who helped save one of the founders of New Hyrule, Princess Zelda the 1st. Along with this statue, his boat was donated as well. These magnificent items were placed in the Museum by his decedent, Linebeck the 14th.
7.) Ancient Statues
What looks to be remaining pieces of two great statues, they were found drifting in the ocean. With one hand of gold and the other of stone, one must wonder what the rest of this statue looked like.
Characters:
Princess Zelda: The fair maiden, who also holds the sacred bloodline of the Goddess Hylia. She is a more rough-and-tough Princess, taking traits directly from her ancestor's alter-ego, Tetra.
Link: The Hero that is awoken to stop the Demon Uprising. Unknown to Link until the end of the game, he is also known as the Hero of Illusions.
Oken: One of Neko's last descendents. He is a young man, around the age of 24, and he is addicted to the learning every bit of history about New and Old Hyrule. Whenever Link needs advice about an artifact or about an item, or even needs a map to someplace deciphered, he can count on Oken.
The Queen of Fairies: Link's companion. When the Master Sword was reawakened by the Crown of Eternity, it zapped a wire in the Queen's head and she quickly came to the aide of Link. Unable to recall her past or her name, she simply goes by Q. She can analyze creatures, people, and some objects and tell you information about them. She also houses the power to control fire and ice, along with other abilities, and you can use these to your advantage at anytime (after you have unlocked them).
Impa: One of the Sheikah people. Following in line with her ancestors, she is Princess Zelda's caretaker. Although this Impa may seem a bit overweight, she is actually carrying many weapons under her attire. She is full of secrets and talents that not even Princess Zelda is fully aware of.
Demon King, Galven: The current Demon King, and the beast who started the events of this game. His main goal is to revive Demise to take over New Hyrule and the rest of the world. He has no idea about the Triforce, but he knows that Demise wants to get his hands on some powerful relic. He can control electricity, some kinetic energy, and teleport.
Areas:
1.) New Hyrule: The land that Tetra/Princess Zelda and Link, along with Zelda's Pirate Crew, found and made into New Hyrule.
2.) The Deku Isles and the Forest of Life: During the age of the Hero of Winds, the Great Deku Tree was creating trees to connect all of the islands in the Great Sea, and to create a large forest. He succeeded, and the Deku Isles and the Forest of Life is what was created. While cities do still exist on these Isles, most of the people of the Great Sea have adapted and started to live in the trees. In this area, there are 3 deities that rule the land, and they are The Great Deku Tree, Valoo, and Jabun.
