It's be even cooler if we could get a game with all the Nintendo characters teaming up like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. That would be insane.

There's literally no reason to do this, if it happened they only would have done it for the sake of doing it.

Since when was SSBB an action RPG? It's a sidescrolling action game but it's nothing like Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Well...by a Mario Zelda game, I meant a game starring Link and Mario that had strong elements of platforming action with puzzles and adventure.

The best of both worlds kinda gameplay.

EDIT: Link is so pissed he manages to jump even higher than Mario, the one who's supposed to be the "Jumpman"!

I don't want Link to do anything with Mario until we get a Zelda Link co-op game. And I don't mean the CD-i games either.

I'd prefer a Paper Zelda over Zelda Galaxy, but I don't think we'll be getting either.

well in ST you do get to travel with Zelda so that kind of is what you're saying. and Super Smash brothers brawl would be the same as that in the sense you are speaking of.

Ok, let me specify. I want a Zelda game where it has an actually good story, you play as Zelda the entire game, and when I saw play as Zelda I mean you can move her using your control pad, not drawing a line and making her play follow the leader.

The thing is, SMG is a platformer where characters run and jump and stomp on enemies. Those are the mechanics needed for a Zelda Galaxy Game (I'm gonna start calling it ZMG).
Well, running wouldnt be too much of a stretch for Link. In SS he can dash as well as other games, but I can tell you one thing. No matter what Nintendo does, Link will NEVER jump. The auto jump thing works beautifully.
If you really want a Zelda platformer, just beg for Mario to get a sword.
