Zelda Characters in Future Smash Bros

Zelda (Skyward Sword)
Debbie (Skyward Sword)
(Ganon If He's In SS)
Midna (Twilight Princess)

If they want to keep a younger character in there, I say bring in Talo! That would be awesome...

Or, how about Ashei? She could probably hold her own in that series.

Idea 3: How about throwing in Wolf Link? I think that would be a pretty cool alternative to Toon Link.

I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing any characters from the pre GC era, I mean, really. The N64 is too out of date. But, with OOT3D, the possibility of Young Link in the 3DS Smash Bros is likely. If we're lucky, on the Wii U too.

IMHO, I don't really want or need any other Zelda characters in a new Smash, I just want Toon Link to have his own moveset. If they did that, it'd be fantastic.

Just judging from what they have done with past games, and unless they change tactics (its Nintendo, it almost isn't in their vocabulary) this is what I think will happen with the next SB game. They will take the textures of the newest iterations of characters and use them for the game. Link will get the SS treatment while Toon Link will change to fit in with the 3DS version of OoT. Ganondorf will also revert back to the 3DS graphics while Zelda will also recieve the SS treatment. Debbie will not be in the game as a character, only as an assist trophy, or enemy boss in storymode.

That is what logically would make sense. We know that the guy in charge of the series already has mentioned that the next game would need to focus more on content than adding new characters, so I doubt they would add another Zelda character when other series still have 1-2 characters in the game. If they want to show some tlc to older games, they will include TP graphics as alternate costumes for the characters to placate the realistically inclined gaming crowd.

So no, I don't think we will be getting new characters, and we are way too far away from getting the game to know what they will do (even though I think I know based upon previous statements and assertions) or what Nintendo will include. So in two and a half years when we get the game, we will know then.

I kind of just want a generic Link. One that doesn't look exactly like SS/TP or OoT Link, or maybe the different color options change between the different variations. Also, I don't want them to get rid of Toon Link, but I also want Young Link back, with his fire arrows.... And Tetra/Toon Zelda would be cool, but Wind Waker was a long time ago. Though, we had Spirit Tracks not too long ago. I feel like they wouldn't do SS Zelda AND Toon Zelda though....... Oooooo..... WW Ganon would be cool.....

You know what they should do? Somehow have characters for download. That way they can come out with different characters, and players could keep checking for the ones they want, which would keep the game fresh. Or is there some huge problem with that I can't see? lol. I mean, I think it would be awesome to play as any of the OoT sages, with different themed attacks.... Saria could have wind and forest styled attacks, Darunia fire and strength, Ruto water and they could be very graceful, Impa would be similar to Sheik, Nabooru could.... well, idk, but it would be cool!

Vaati would also be a cool character. And Debbie/Ghirahim.

But I think I would be happy if they just gave Ganon his own set of moves and didn't make him a Captain Falcon clone.... He's no fun to fight as because he's so slow. Give him stuff Ganon actually uses in the games, like energy balls or a sword/set of swords. And let us turn into OoT demon Ganon somehow, final smash? I mean the TP pig Ganon was kind of cool.... but just imagine OoT Ganon...... and fighting him as Link and Zelda, it would be awesome!

I think they'll take out Toon Link because of the fact that SS Link is... "less than realistic"

However, I'm not sure whether Ganondorf OR Zelda will be in it.
Why? Well, for one, Ganondorf may not be in SS, and SS Zelda doesn't look like the fighting type... and I cant see her as Sheik.
So, with no Toon Link, Ganondorf OR Zelda, that leaves 3 spaces open.
And I think we may be seeing the return of "Young Link" because of OoT 3D. However, this also means that Ganondorf may be in it because of that game too. So this is what I think we'll see:

-SS Link
-Young Link (OoT 3D Version)
-Ghirahim
-Ganondorf (OoT 3D Version)

With SS Zelda and the SS "Chocobos" as assist trophies.

They could just use Toon Ganondorf with longer legs. What we've seen of Skyloft townies shows that lightly modified Wind Waker NPC models would fit in just fine.

I preferred Toon Link is SMBB rather than Link. Toon Link will probably stay due to the DS installments, but i wonder if we will get TP link or SS link. If we get SS link, then Nintendo will probably remove Toon Link, because both Links are kind of Toony.

I still think they should have skins. Or one generic Link. Or the new WiiU Link. >_>

I always play as the weaker character. Young Link in Melee. Link in Brawl. Tee hee.

I don't think it's impossible for a Wii U Link. Not the E3 demo Link, I'm talking the real Link, even if they might look the same.

Masahiro Sakurai ( the guy that is in charge of the next Smash Bros.)with Kid Icarus and the Zelda crew with Skyward Sword should be done around the same time so they should start with their new games around the same time as well. I'm not really sure which game takes the most time to make but Zelda games do tend to get delayed. Even if the next Smash Bros. comes out earlier I think still think they could use the Wii U Link model sort of like they used the Pit model for Kid Icarus Uprising. This maybe isn't very likely but one can still hope( at least I do).

Debbie should be in the next Smash Bros. That would be epic with his flamboyant self.

But speaking of Zelda, which Zelda will they have? The one from TP or the not-princess Princess Zelda? I think the SS Zelda will appear, but with TP Zelda's abilities. Unless she gets special abilities at the end of the game.

TP Zelda's abilities? She was just copy-pasted from OoT Zelda and, aside from Sheik transformation, her moveset was made up from scratch.
