The whole "puppet-master" thing is becoming so overdone. I'm not saying the main villain can't have minions, that's a good thing, but if Debbie is some big bad's minion I want it to be clear from the start. No more "surprises" because if it happens again it won't be a surprise but more like a cliche.
Everything in EVERY story these days is overdone. It seems that everything has been thought up these days. I guess the only way to be original is to twist around other ideas and things to them to make it your own.
I personally think that community calling this mysterious figure "Debbie" is super-retarded and I will not be inclined to do so.
Blasphemy! How can you not call Debbie Debbie? That is his name and it's a fabulous name too. How would you like it if someone refused to call you by your name? BURN THE HERETIC!!!
Besides, we need to call him something. Or are you just going to refer to him as the "Emo-ninja-magician-Sheikah-jester-albino-Vaati lookalike-guy-with-purple-eye-liner" whenever you have to mention him?
I actually do like Debbie. He looks really confident, even after Link breaks the arms off of Mecha Shiva, almost as if he's just playing with him. Kind of reminds me how Ganondorf manipulates the Hero of Time into opening the sacred realm and such. He doesn't seem like the sterotypical "mwa ha ha ha I'll destroy the world!" villian and more like the "I have a master plan and there's nothing you can do about it" villian, which I like. Plus IMO I think he would make a great minion, great big bad, and a great neutral character so whatever he ends up being it will be fabulous
