I think It should have some blood, but not a whole lot. Like, If Link slashes an enemy, it'll splatter a few droplets of blood in the air, and the'll fall down and disappear. If there's any blood in the game, It'll most likely look like that.

Rating a game before it comes out is just... stupid. They have't played it yet and they rate it?

There was also a lot of blood shed in the original OoT. For Link and most enemies, there is a splash of blood with every attack. It's easy to overlook because of the graphics but it's there. I wish later versions of OoT gave it a T instead of watering it down. It looks ridiculous when Ganondorf coughs up mucus.
In Zelda '05, I hope enemies don't die with puffs of smoke, but I don't want any gore overblown. And character deaths would be a good thing (in terms of dramatic storytelling).
Yeah, there's always been blood in OoT and MM. I don't mind it much, especially since it's just a few blue or green circles. But in MM, in the Honey and Darling game with arrows, if you hit them with an arrow, there is blue blood and they say things like "Ow, that hurt!!" I imagine it does. I don't think they could get away with that in Z'05, though. If they're going to put blood, they ought to do it realistic, though I'd prefer no blood.

Re: PLanet Gamecube already gave Zelda GC a rating

The people at "Planet gamecube" are foolish imbeciles.
How they can rate a game from a one minute trailer is inconceivable.
Actually, it seems as though they haven't seen the trailer, as there was
nothing in it that would warrant a Mature rating.

...Nintendo...Mature... !?! Are you mad !?!

Nintendo has done mature games before, even gamecube, like Eternal Darkness.

Perhaps I should have been more specific...
I meant games developed by Nintendo not Silicon Knights.

And it is the first M-rated game for the Game Cube, so my "!?! are you mad !?!"
comment, could still apply.

Planet gamecube....those guys are real idiots.

I recall thier SC2 review, and how the reviewer was saying that the GCN controller doesn't respond very well with the game. (as far as reaction time goes)

Now, I know my GCN controller responds fine with it, so I had no idea what he was talking about until he mentioned that he was playing it with his wavebird.....and appearantly didn't realize he needed to change the batteries.

Re: PLanet Gamecube already gave Zelda GC a rating

There is no possible way Nintendo would make one of its main franchises, Zelda (all of which have been rated E by the way), rated M. That would be suicide.

Re: PLanet Gamecube already gave Zelda GC a rating

Ok, so we all know that PlanetGameCube are at times bogus with their assumptions and articles. Well just to clear there air, I sort of have proof that this game isn't rated M for mature. Earlier today, ZU put up an article from an Australian website that had an interview with Mr.Miyamoto-san himself. Here is a quote from him that "prooves" that Zelda'05 isn't rated M:

Quote:
It is this freedom that has made the violent and anarchic Grand Theft Auto series the biggest gaming franchise of recent years. But Miyamoto has no interest in making adult-only games. "People often talk about Grand Theft Auto, but I am not sure whether that sort of extreme subject matter is always appropriate," he says.

Thanks for the information. I had read that article earlier and I must have
missed that point. I think we all knew in are minds that Zelda being M was impossible.

So true. But it's good to hear some proof anyways. Just to be 100% sure.

I dunno, in conclusion I guess I'd love to see a more mature Zelda game but not too mature.
If it gets M nintendo put some Sexual Content in w00t

I take it you didn't read the article I sent out. It isn't rated M, and I truely think (and hope that) it never will. But for your sake, if it was rated M, it doesn't have to be only for Sexual Content, it could be there for exsesive profanity and/or very realistic gore/deaths.

Judging from the fact that there's decapitation in the game, a Mature rating actually isn't out of the question. I wouldn't be surprised if the game even gets one, although I'm expecting a Teen rating myself.

First off...I think ZU would apreciate it if you didn't a whole sentence in capitalization. It shows that you are shouting and from shouting comes anger, and I don't apreciate that. If you wanted that sentence to stand out, I'm sure bolding it like so: If it's "M", put something in it that's worth it. But to answer your remark, they haven't shown much (other than the decapitation of one's head) to give it a "M" rating. I personally hope it will be at most a "T" rating.

If ESRB does give it a "M" for stuff like decapitation you can bet Nintendo will tune it down until it's at "T" or even "E" level.

Re: PLanet Gamecube already gave Zelda GC a rating

Zelda is a game for all ages, my little cousin plays it, but his mom wont let him play "m" if nintendo changes any E rated game to a M sequal is very dumb on there part, sales will go down. Anyway didnt that interview just say it wasnt M, so why are we still talking about it like it is a posibility.
