Skyward Sword-are there hints in OoT?

Everyone knows the story of Hyrule and its origins but, now that Skyward Sword is coming out and has been confirmed to be the game right before OoT perhaps OoT can provide hints of what Skyward Swords will be about.

In OoT the Graveyard holds many of the members of the Royal Family that have died. Will we be seeing those people or will we see completely new people? And lets not forget the well.It was said it used to be a home or a place maybe we will get to see it. And what about the war that went on right before OoT began. Will we be seeing that war or is the game based right after another game or perhaps right after Hyrule was created? I guess we will have to wait and see till Skyward Sword is released.

You might be correct, very good ideas, but what about the sheiks race, they died out after the war.

*Moved to future Zelda*

Just because it is set before OoT doesn't mean it will be right before. I hope they don't go out of their way to include small things from OoT. Something new please.

We can't confirm anything yet; No one outside of Nintendo knows anything about SS nor is the game even released. All we know is that it will predate OoT by about 100 years, will reveal the origin of the Master Sword, and will include Zelda. No comment about Ganondorf yet.

Sorry, just want to put this out there.

If we get to see these two alive, I'll be quite happy.

Bunnies will have to be in it.
The postman from OoT says that there used to be bunnies all around Hyrule, but they got hunted to extinction.

No it happened with WW and TP( or atleast I think), it usually happens in a Zelda game though.

Re: Skyward Sword-are there hints in OoT?

I want to see/I predict we'll see:

- Kakariko when it was a Sheikah village/hideout
- Lost children given to the Deku tree (later become Kokiri)
- The origins of the "evil eye" symbol
- The construction of the Temple of Time
- The very first handful of Sages
- BUNNIES HELL YEAH!

^This! Especially the Sheikah tribe. I wouldn't even mind Vaati being connected to that tribe some how along with him being the boss of this game. Even though that suggestion is something made up by theorist I think it has potential.

Re: Skyward Sword-are there hints in OoT?

I don't think Nintendo should limit themselves too much in order to stay true to the later games in the timeline. I think Skyward Sword should strive to creative its own identity, and not rely on past titles for references and cameos.

But it would be nice if Nintendo did add a few details here and there. Though, I think the Shiekah should be in the game without question. We've only seen Impa and Shiek in Ocarina of Time; we've never really seen the whole tribe, so Nintendo to be really creative with how they function. Kind of like how Ocarina of Time introduced Deku Scrubs (as enemies), but fleshed them out into a legit tribe in Majora's Mask.

Bunnies on Hyrule field would be nice as well, but, like I stated, I don't think Nintendo should get too carried away in order to be true to the other Zeldas. Introduce new races, legends (it seems like the inclusion of the Skyward Sword spirit girl will give the Master Sword a whole new meaning; which I like), and new mainstays (like NEW songs not taken or even inspired by Ocarina of Time).

If they add the details to link it to OoT it would make it that much better. It wouldn't take away from the game's uniqueness. That's all up to how well Nintendo composes the game.

Re: Skyward Sword-are there hints in OoT?

Wow 5th post deleted today. I must be going for the world record.

Jokes aside why wouldn't it hurt to see Skull Kid to be seen as a hylain/kokiri. The Skull Kid was an interesting character and I would love to see him as a hylian/kokiri or at least see him turn into a Skull Kid.

we don`t know if it was 100 years prior to oot, it might be as much as over 1000 years! the land of hyrule is in SS described as being a place both below and above the clouds. so it must be happening something which changes this, and the geography in hyrule from oot donīt have any traces from this. I highly doubt that it was intended to be any signs from the land above the clouds, itīs not like the Zelda series was planed in the way Star wars was!

I have one question! it has been stated that SS is prior to oot, but is it prior to TMC?
in other words, the first one in the series.

Re: Skyward Sword-are there hints in OoT?

You know I was actually thinking about this earlier today.
The only thing I would like Nintendo to do is bring back the Sheikah Tribe or at least give them a background and, since this is probably going to take place BEFORE the Great War mentioned in OoT, Skyward Sword would be a perfect game to do so.

I believe they confirmed that TMC is not the earliest game. If you use your timeline... it occurs about right after Minish Cap.
