New Zelda coming soon?

Ok, I've seen that video footage of the new zelda game which looks like it will be just like OOT and ALTTP, a game to be considered one of the best games ever made. But anyway, at the end of the footage it says "Coming Soon"? Are they playing a joke on us or what? What do they mean by "Coming soon"? To me soon would be Xmas. What do you guys think?

Xmas of 2004: Not very likely. It may be possible, i don't know.

March of 2005: Maybe

June 1st 2005: That sounds like a date it would come out, don't you think?

Xmas of 2005: ; No, i don't think it will be THAT far away, i hope not!


Then again, they said that they were close to the finishing touches, perhaps right now, they are debugging any glitches that the game may have and improving certian spots of the game and creating the manual for it and making the boxes and all that kind of stuff. All that is longer than you think.

I think it was confirmed somewhere it won't come out until next year, in 2005, during the spring or around then or something. Maybe not confirmed, but I'm pretty sure that's whats being thought. I'm almost possitive not during the winter. But we can all keep on wishing...

Then why did they say that they were nearly.......OH! I get it, They are putting the finishing touches and according to Anouma: "and getting a playable demo by next years E3".

Um...What is the playable demo? Is it the game that you buy and take home to play with to your heart's content?

I wonder if that means it will come out late May/Early June of 2005.

Playable demo is, I'm pretty sure, just what it sounds like. You go to E3 and play a demo, or a short part or version of the game. Like the 20 minute demo of TWW on the Zelda Collector's Edition disk for the GCN.

TMC will be this year. Zelda GCN I see late 2005 and DS Zelda I see Mid 2006.

I'll take a wild guess and just say that the game will be released next summer, possibly winter.

I sort of agree. Since OoT was Zelda's very first game on the N64 console (and made a great hit coming out durring the Holiday Season), I think it would be a wise move for Nintendo to start selling (here in the U.S.) around the same time OoT did (November). And with the hype of seeing even more photage after the game being released in Japan, I'm sure the game will be in everyone's wish list for sure.

I don't think that it'll be released in Summer-Summer is the worst time to sell a game (personally I don't know why what with all the kids out of school and all, but meh) apparently. I'd say that if it doesn't come out before June, we'll not see it till September. Hardly any games come out in July and August at all...
