unreleased Zelda 2005 info???

Hey, I was at GameStop (although I try to support the locally owned stores) and I was talking to the cashier about how they already have preorders for it even though they only released a video on it with no real information. He said theres alot more information on it that hasn't been released to the public and that its going to be out I think the end of this year or beginning of the next. All in all, not far from now for what we know of the game. Do you know if any of this "unreleased information" has been leaked onto the internet at all?

If this is a question that has been exhausted from over asking, I apologize. I don't have the time to read the forums that much.

Sounds like another dumb/evil game store employee. I think it was made fairly clear that the new GC Zelda game would be released after next years E3, most likely closer to the holiday season which means the END of next year. Yes there are already preorders on the game but you can pretty much preorder any big name game as soon as it is first announced (I'm sure some poor souls have had Half Life 2 preordered for over a year now)

Another possibility is that there may be another "Zelda" game coming out (such as the Minish Cap for GBA) but certainly not the one that everyone is eager for the most.

Employee's that don't know what they are talking about are really annoying >_<
plus, information not given to the public probably wouldn't be given to him either... o_O

Too true, because guys like that would definately leak that information onto the web, lol.

I thought the dude was full of it, I just wansn't sure. They way I see it, Gamestop tries to play off of the hype of E3 and make money off of pre-orders that people will probably forget that they have by the time the game actually comes out. He was probably just saying what he was suppose to.

This sounds like a money making scam by games retailers. They might be short on a few dollers/pounds.

I always wait until a month before it comes out, that way, i do not have to wait too long for the game (i got Wind Waker 3-4 days before it hit the shops)
