Landings

Please forgive my randomness, but I have an interesting (well, interesting if you`re odd like me) idea about Skyward Sword. Ok, so we`ve all seen the new trailer that was realsed yesterday at E3 correct? Well, Link jumped of the eage of the "Skyloft" (at lest that was what it was called at the story link) into the clouds, but it didn`t show him LAND! And this is where my very strange and far off idea comes in folks. Dose Link grow wings?! Please don`t leave! At lest hear out my reason! See, he was in the same position Pit was in when he was in flight. Yet again, I only thought about this cause it was in a dream I had, so I am most likely full of you know what,but back to the point. Though it probubly whon`t happen( man, I`m a downer) would you like Link to fly?

The position Link adopts while falling is a common one used in skydiving. It allows for maximum air resistance while still allowing control. I highly doubt that there's any hidden significance to it.

As for Link getting wings, I again have my doubts, mainly because of how silly it'd look. Flight via some other means--such as a vehicle or, dare I suggest, Roc's Cape--is still possible, however. Miyamoto dropped hints that the sky plays a big role in the game, and that probably means more than simply charging the sword by holding it aloft.

As I said earlier, this is for randomness and wishing perposes only. I just though it could be interesting. Besides, we are talking about Nintendo.

I think the sword girl will spread her cloak/cape/wings and use that to glide/fly down with Link. Her cloak does look a tad bat-like, and she IS the Skyward Sword.

I don't know I'm not saying your not right, because that is the most logical conclusion, but what with the sky element and the Hylian Bird Crest in the SS logo... I think a bird is going to play a big part in the game, if not your means of flight.

Yeah, definitely one of the two. If it IS a bird, I'm thinking it will be a phoenix, as the Hylian crest is typically red and just looks like it'd be a phoenix to me.

My first thought was that the sword could help Link fly too, like the keyblade gliders in Birth By Sleep. On second thought, that sounded silly so now I don't know what to think
