Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Of course they did, and I'm Shigeru Miyamoto.

They're the most unbelievable fakes I've seen in a long time.
And if they're real then I shall eat my britches.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Those are all real as far as I know, they've been around since some french site published them the day after the private viewing. Video GamerX apparently isn't very interested in giving out credit for where they came from. The shot of the horse in the water was a moving .gif also.

I'm susprised the general public hasn't been given view of the trailer yet =/

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

The pictures are real, I believe. But too crappy and low-res to even be worth looking at.

They look real to me, but they're in very bad shape. I hope to see some larger detailed versions of this, and perhaps a few more screenshots we haven't seen before to finish it off.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

I've seen the last two pics, but not the first one ssh showed us. Is "Odyssey of Hyrule" the subtitle? It sounds cool. I don't want to be hooked onto the name until I have further proof.

*===EDIT===*

I just realized. An Odyssey is another word for " a long travel" am I right? In the begining of tWW, didn't they talk about Hero of Travels and the Hero of Time? Some assumed that the Hero of Travels was refering to "The time traveling hero" (The Hero of Time). And I previously thought that the Hero of Travels was the Link who traveled outside of Hyrule to save Holodrum, Lybrynna, Kohoti(major sp?) Island, and Minish Country. But now this new game could be featuring the Hero of Travels. I hope that made sence.

Well Link and Tetra did set off for a "long travel" at the end of TWW. Then of course there is a Zelda site called the Odysee of Hyrule. Which probably provided the screens.

Yeah they look pretty real to me.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

The Odyssey of Hyrule is one of the oldest Zelda sites still on the net. It's been around for years and years. That's where the screens come from.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Those screen shots were released by Nintendo. Legends of Zelda (and I'm sure more) had all of them posted before the second trailer was even shown (including the fire-like dungeon). I'm pretty sure VideoGamerX resized them and that is why they look crappy.

And as lord-of-shadow said, the words "Odyssey of Hyrule" are actually the title of a website and have no (known) relevance to the new game. That site has been around since before Ocarina of Time was released I believe, so it is pretty much impossible to infer timeline speculation from its name.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Hm, so they are real, well they do look pretty rubbish.

I'd have thought nintendo would check people for recording
devices before allowing them to watch a "secret trailer".

At last a horse that can cross water.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

They are definatly real... I saw those shots the day the trialer came out. Thats way to soon for fakes.
I doubt that those shots were taken by a camera that someone snuck in. They were probably leaked.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Well, what did you expect?
1) They aren't screenshots, they're images of videos. So, they are gonna be crappy quality.
2) Whoever took these had to be fast, before he was kicked out of E3. This explains why only 3 shots were taken.
3) It must have not been a very good digital camera, or else he would have recorded the video.

Now, we can only hope for more screenshots.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

If I recall correctly, I read that Nintendo allowed people to bring cameras to take still photos with, but not video cameras. That's why people have those shots.

Re: Secret Zelda Trailer Screenshots!

Actually there was a whole series of those images posted on various sites around. One site even put them together and animated the riding sequence as a gif, riding through some water.

It's pretty old. They are so low quality though, I didn't bother posting them on ZU.
